~Serah Williams pov~
As I sat in my car, I couldn't believe what I had just done. Pouring coffee on Armand Salvatore had been a bold move, but it had felt exhilarating. For years, Armand had been my worst enemy, and I had finally found a way to get back at him. I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down.
After removing the male customed from my face and flipping my hair, I couldn't help but feel more confident than ever. Seeing Armand up close had given me a chance to really study him. I knew what he looked like now, and it was time to use that information to my advantage.
I decided that it was time to get closer to him. I needed to know more about him if I was going to use that information to get my revenge.
As I drove away from Armand Salvatore's company, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. The encounter with Armand had been intense, and I was glad to be out of there. However, my relief was short-lived as I arrived home to find the pack Alpha, Lucas Pendragon, waiting for me.
I was taken aback. I didn't know how he had gotten into my house as I was sure I had locked it before leaving. "Lucas, what are you doing here?" I asked, trying to hide my surprise.
He looked at me with his piercing blue eyes, his expression serious. "We need to talk," he said, his voice commanding.
I nodded, unsure of what he wanted to discuss. Lucas was the leader of our pack, and I knew that whatever he had to say was important.
He followed me into the living room, and we sat down on the couch. "What's going on?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.
Lucas sighed. "I know that you're plotting against him. That you want revenge for something he did to you in the past."
I felt a rush of anger wash over me. How dare he accuse me of something like that? "That's ridiculous," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "I have no intention of doing anything to Armand."
Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Really? Then why were you seen pouring coffee on him earlier today?"
I felt a sinking feeling in my chest. So much for being careful. "It was just a mistake," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Lucas shook his head. "I can't have you going after our pack's enemies like this," he said. "It's dangerous, and it puts us all at risk."
I took a deep breath and looked Lucas straight in the eyes. "I appreciate your concern, Lucas, but I know what I'm doing. What I'm about to do won't put the pack in danger or lead to its destruction," I said firmly.
Lucas raised an eyebrow, a hint of skepticism in his expression. "And how can you be so sure of that?" he asked.
"Because I've planned this carefully," I replied. "I left Denmark and came all the way to Australia to seek my revenge on Armand. I know what he's capable of, and I know how to handle him."
Lucas leaned back in his seat, considering my words. "I understand that you want revenge, but you need to remember that you're not alone in this. The pack is here for you, and we can help you."
I shook my head, feeling a flash of anger. "No, Lucas. You don't get it. Armand must pay for what he did, and I won't let anyone stand in my way."
Lucas sighed, looking at me with a mix of concern and frustration. "I'm not trying to stand in your way, but you need to understand that your actions have consequences. If something were to happen to you, it would affect the entire pack."
I felt a twinge of guilt at his words, but I couldn't back down now. "I know that, Lucas, but I have to do this. Armand hurt me, and he needs to pay for it."
There was a tense silence between us as we both contemplated our next move. I knew that Lucas meant well, but I couldn't let him dictate my actions. I had to do what I felt was right, even if it meant going against the pack's wishes.
"Please, just be careful," Lucas said finally, his voice softening.
"I will," I replied, knowing that my words would bring little comfort to him.
We sat in silence for a few more moments, and then Lucas stood up, signaling that our conversation was over. "If you need anything, just let me know," he said, his eyes fixed on mine.
"I will," I replied, watching as he walked out of the room.
As I sat alone in my living room, I couldn't help but feel conflicted. Lucas was right to be worried about me, but I couldn't let my desire for revenge be controlled by anyone else. Armand had to pay, and I was determined to make sure that he did.
Excitement coursed through my veins as I read the email from TMJ COMPANY. It was owned by Armand Salvatore, now I have a chance to get closer to him and exact my revenge.
I quickly replied to the email, accepting the interview invitation for the next day. I couldn't wait to see Armand again, to look him in the eyes and show him that I was no longer the weak person he had once hurt.
As I prepared for the interview, I felt a sense of determination unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I knew that this was my chance to get close to Armand, to learn his weaknesses and use them against him.
The next day, I arrived at TMJ COMPANY, my heart racing with anticipation. I walked into the reception area, where a receptionist greeted me with a smile.
"Good morning, how can I assist you?" she asked.
"I have an interview with Mr. Salvatore," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.
The receptionist checked her computer and then nodded. "Yes, you're scheduled to meet with him in his office on the fifth floor. Take the elevator and turn right when you exit."
I thanked her and then made my way to the elevator. As I rode up to the fifth floor, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nervousness. This was it, my chance to finally confront Armand and make him pay for what he had done.
When I reached the fifth floor, I followed the receptionist's instructions and turned right. I walked down a long hallway and then finally arrived at Armand's office.
I took a deep breath and then knocked on the door. "Come in," a deep voice said from the other side.
I opened the door and walked into the room, my eyes immediately locking onto Armand Salvatore. He's handsome, with piercing blue eyes and a strong jawline.
Armand stood up from his desk and walked towards me, extending his hand. "Ms. Williams, it's a pleasure to meet you. Please, have a seat," he said, gesturing towards a chair in front of his desk.
I sat down, trying to keep my cool. This was it, my chance to get closer to Armand and finally make him pay.
As he began to ask me interview questions, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. Armand had no idea who I really was, or what I was capable of. And soon enough, he would find out.
After the interview, I left the TMJ COMPANY building and headed towards my car. The meeting with Armand Salvatore had been a success, and I felt a sense of satisfaction as I thought about the future.
As I drove home, I couldn't help but think about the plan that was forming in my head. Armand had no idea who I really was, and he had no idea of the danger that lay ahead.
I knew that I had to be careful, that I had to bide my time and wait for the perfect moment to strike. But I also knew that I was more determined than ever to make Armand pay for what he had done.
As I pulled into my driveway, I took a deep breath and tried to clear my mind. I needed to focus on the task at hand, to stay alert and aware of my surroundings at all times.
I got out of my car and walked towards my front door, fumbling for my keys in my pocket. As I unlocked the door and stepped inside, I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
I was home, and I was safe. But I knew that the road ahead would be long and difficult, and that I would have to be prepared for anything that came my way.
I made my way to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of water, trying to calm my nerves. The plan was in motion, and soon enough, Armand Salvatore would know exactly who I was and what I was capable of.
But for now, I needed to rest and gather my strength. The battle ahead would be a difficult one, but I was ready to face it head-on.
Serah sat on the edge of her bed, phone pressed against her ear as she listened to the gruff voice of her werewolf leader."I don't like it, Serah," he growled. "Entering the vampire CEO's company is a risky move. You know how dangerous they can be.""I know," Serah replied, her voice steady. "But we need to get inside and find out what they're planning. If they're working against us, we need to know."There was a pause on the other end of the line, and Serah could almost hear her leader's thoughts whirring. Finally, he spoke again."Fine. But be careful. We'll have your back, but you're on your own in there."Serah nodded, even though he couldn't see her. "I will. Thank you."Just as she was about to hang up, her phone beeped with a new text message. She opened it and felt her heart race as she read the words."Congratulations, Ms. Williams. You have been selected for a second interview with our CEO. Please report to our headquarters at 10am sharp tomorrow."Serah's werewolf leader h
As I sat behind my desk in my large office, I felt the familiar hunger gnawing at my insides. The sun had just set, and my mind was already wandering towards thoughts of the hunt. However, before I could give in to my primal instincts, my assistant, Annabel, walked in."Sir," she said, interrupting my thoughts. "Serah is here for her second interview."I raised an eyebrow. "Serah? The human?""Yes, sir," Annabel replied, her voice calm and collected as always.I leaned back in my chair, considering the news. I had been intrigued by Serah during her first interview, and her resume had impressed me. However, as a vampire, I was always cautious when it came to humans. They were fragile creatures, and I had to be sure that she could handle the demands of the job."Very well," I said after a moment of thought. "Send her in."As Annabel left to retrieve Serah, I took a moment to compose myself. I had to remember that I was the CEO of a large corporation, not just a bloodthirsty monster. I s
I turned around, my senses on high alert as I caught a glimpse of the werewolf running away. Without a second thought, I took off after him, determined to catch the intruder and protect my company from any potential threat.I ran down the hallway, my feet pounding against the ground as I followed the werewolf's scent trail. But as I turned a corner, I saw that he had disappeared.Cursing under my breath, I looked around frantically, trying to catch sight of the intruder. But there was no sign of him.I reached for my phone, knowing that I needed to act quickly to prevent any further danger. I dialed one of my men, a skilled tracker who had been trained to deal with situations like this."John," I said as soon as he answered. "I need you to track down a werewolf. He's in the building, and he's a potential threat to our company."John didn't ask any questions. He knew the drill and understood the urgency of the situation."I'm on it, boss," he said, his voice steady. "I'll gather my tea
As I arrived at my castle, I walked into my den where the werewolf was being kept. He was restrained and snarling, his eyes fixed on me as I approached."Who are you and what are you doing here?" I asked, my voice firm and commanding. The werewolf growled in response, his body tense and ready for a fight. I could sense his fear and anger, and I knew that I had to tread carefully if I wanted to get any information out of him."You're not going to get anything out of me, bloodsucker," he spat, his eyes blazing with hatred.I raised an eyebrow, unimpressed by his bravado. "I wouldn't be so sure about that," I replied coolly. "You're in my territory now, and I have ways of making you talk."The werewolf snarled again, but I could see the fear in his eyes. He knew that I wasn't bluffing, and he knew that I had the power to make him suffer if he didn't cooperate."Fine," he growled. "What do you want to know?"I smiled, knowing that I had won this round. "Start by telling me your name," I s
Armand sat in his large leather chair, his eyes scanning over the papers on his desk. He sighed and looked up to see his secretary, Annabel, standing in front of him."Good morning, sir," she said with a smile."Good morning, Annabel," he replied. "What's on my schedule for today?""Well, you have a meeting with the board of directors at ten o'clock. And Serah is scheduled to give a presentation."Armand's eyes widened. "Serah's giving a presentation today? Why wasn't I informed about this earlier?"Annabel shrugged. "I'm not sure, sir. But I can call her and make sure she's prepared."Armand nodded. "Please do. And make sure she has all the necessary materials for the presentation."Annabel picked up the phone and dialed Serah's number. After a few rings, Serah answered."Good morning, Serah," Annabel said. "This is Annabel from Armand's office. I wanted to confirm that you're prepared for your presentation to the board of directors today."Serah's voice was shaky. "I...I thought the
~Serah Williams pov~As I walked home, my mind was racing with thoughts of the company and Armand Salvatore. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched, like there was someone following me. Suddenly, my phone rang, and I saw that it was Lucas Pendragon calling."Hey Lucas, what's up?" I answered, my voice trembling with nerves."Meet me at the abandoned building on 5th street," he said, his voice low and urgent. "It's important."I hesitated for a moment, wondering what could be so important that Lucas would ask me to meet him in such a dangerous place. But then I remembered the rumors about Armand Salvatore and the danger he posed to those who opposed him. Maybe Lucas had information that could help me stay safe.I arrived at the building, my heart pounding in my chest. The place was dark and abandoned, and I could hear the sound of rats scurrying across the floor. As I made my way inside, I saw Lucas standing in the shadows, his piercing blue eyes fixed on me."Lucas, what's
~Armand Salvatore pov~I walked through the castle's halls, my mind consumed with thoughts of John's death. I have just received the news that morning and had spent the last few hours trying to make sense of it all. As I walked, I heard the whispers of the other vampires as them too tried to come to terms with the loss of our friend.I entered the main hall where a few vampires were gathered. They all turned to me as I approached, their faces are mixture of sadness and confusion."What could have caused John's death?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. No one had an answer. They all shook their heads, unsure of what to say. John was one of the strongest and most powerful vampire they had ever known. For him to die so suddenly was unprecedented."We need to find out what happened," I said firmly. "We cannot let his death go unanswered. We need to investigate and find out who is responsible."The other vampires nodded in agreement. They knew that I was right. John had been a valu
~Serah Williams pov~As soon as I hung up the phone with Mr. Armand Salvatore, I knew that I had to call Lucas. This was a big opportunity for me, but it also carried a lot of risk. Mr. Salvatore was a vampire leader, there was always the chance that something could go wrong.I dialed Lucas's number and waited anxiously for him to pick up. "Hey, what's up?" he said, his voice cheerful and upbeat."Lucas, I just got off the phone with Mr. Salvatore. He wants me to organize a preview party for the launch of my book.""That's great news!" Lucas said, sounding genuinely excited."Yes, but there's a catch. Mr. Salvatore is a strong vampire leader, and I want you and some of our werewolf members to be at the party. Just in case anything goes wrong."There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line. "Are you sure that's necessary?" Lucas asked finally."I don't want to take any chances," I replied firmly. "We don't know what could happen at the party. And I'd rather be safe than so
