Natalia and I were back in the pack house. She was sleeping in her room, but I could not sleep. I had taken her to the pack hospital after rescuing her. I wanted her to stay the night, but she stubbornly insisted on going back to the house. I would not had listened to her if not that Doctor Simon assured me that she was going to be fine.

It angered me so much that I let her attacker escape. I wanted to use him as an example to those that would dare lay their hands on her. But I could not, not when she was hurting and she needed me.

It was even more aggravating because I didn't get to see who the person was so I could look for him and punish him later. I didn't even catch his scent as he seemed to mask it.
