Courtney's POV

I was nervous as I went to the pack house with Landon. I didn't know what to expect, but I was determined to go anyway.

When we got to the house, Landon held my hand before I opened the car door. He gave me a small smile.

"Relax love, you seem very tensed."

"Well, I am meeting your 'not so loving family', I have a good reason to be tensed."

He chuckled lightly, before placing a soft kiss on my lips, then the top of my head, and my heart warmed. Sometimes he made me feel like a child.

"Don't worry, my parents are not usually mean to visitors, especially my mom. She loves when people find their mates, and she had always wanted my brother and I to find ours. I am certain she will be delighted to meet you."
