Aaron's POV

It was early the next morning, and I was outside, patrolling the pack. Something strange happened last night. Some pack members were attacked and killed, and their bodies were displayed on the streets for everyone to see. Some parts of their bodies were even separated from the rest, and I wondered what had happened.

Some pack members brought it to my notice, very early this morning, and I came to see for myself. My heart ached at the sight of the bodies, and I felt immense pity for the families, but mostly anger on the person or people that were involved in the abominable act.

"Please go home and rest. I will take care of it and make sure that the whoever is behind this is exposed and dealt with." I assured them, and they left, having faith in me, but some of them kept murmuring as they went and I overheard them.

Some blamed me for the incident. This had never happened before with all the previous Alphas, but I was barely one month as an Alpha and there was already killing
