Chapter 42: A clear message
They met up at the edge of the woods, she had already shifted and Nova was itching to run. Tyler grins. "Go on, we'll be right behind you." He shifts as Nova takes off with a huff. Lia and Nova both look back to see the large black wolf they knew was Valens behind them. They had seen him a few times when they had worked with their wolves in training. Lia had been shocked with how large and powerful he had been. Nova had reminded her that he was an alpha from a very powerful and respected line. Seeing him again when it was just them was wonderful. Nova keeps a pace that allows him to keep up. The two end up playing. Chasing each other.
Back at the Valor Moon Pack house James' phone rings. "Yes, Oliver?" His tone filled with annoyance.
"Is Dahlia with you?" Oliver asks and Gunner's hackles raise in James' mind.
