The Truth

**Emmett POV*

Charlie hung up the phone and I stood listening for a moment to the dead line. Slowly but surely I processed what she told me before attempting to ring her back. Each time the phone rang out. Frustrated I tossed my phone aside and went straight for my fathers office. Titan paced my mind just as distraught as I was. I paused outside the office door before taking a breath and knocking.

"Enter" Dads voice boomed.

He was an older version of me, he was as big and as muscular our hair was the same colour but his was slightly longer in length and hung just above his chin. His desk was littered with paperwork and his lap top was open. He looked up and took me in

"Ah Emmett your keen today I hadn't expected you yet" he smiled mistaking my appearance in his office as enthusiasm to learn the ins and outs of being an Alpha to the pack.

"Dad, can an Alpha were wolf get a human pregnant?" I rushed into my question before I lost my nerve.

"There have always been rumoured myths of its occurance but as the werewolf pup grows much faster then a human baby it generally ends in miscarriage or complications. Human pregnancy lasts nine months , alpha werewolf pregnancy is generally five to six months only therefore its unlikely a human could carry a pup growing at the fast rate an Alpha pup tends to grow." He paused and took in my features. " Why do you ask Son?"

I sighed placing my head in my hands and sinking into the tan leather sofa in his office.

"When we were in New York City I met a girl named Charlie, I was so drawn to her I couldn't help myself. We had a short fling but as she was human despite the overwhelming pull I felt to her I knew logically she wasn't my mate I knew as a future Alpha she could never be my Luna so I ended it and left as planned."

"And?" My father prompted from his position in his desk chair.

"And this morning she rang me upset saying she was pregnant." I added.

"Your sure she was human?" He whispered

"Come on Dad she had no scent she was human" I snapped.

He stood up rubbing his temple. "How far along pregnant is she possibly?" He replied.

I paused mentally working it out.

"Emmett?" He demanded.

"I'm working it out." I snarled

"Work it out faster." He yelled back his worry now making itself evident.

"three maybe four weeks at most." I answered shrugging.

He sat back down "which places her roughly twelve to fourteen weeks in human gestation I believe. She should have miscarried an Alpha pup in theory by now." He sighed

"I am not wishing that on her or my pup" I yelled.

"No one is" he snipped back. "Is it possible she was already pregnant by a human male?" He added lowering his tone.

"No." I muttered "she was pure when I met her"

"Great" he placed his own head in his hands. " we need to look after this girl now. Regardless she is right now carrying your pup, my grandpup and the future Alpha of the Pearl Moon Pack half human or not, therefore she will be treated as so. I will go to the Elders for special permission to bring her here and inform her of the Werewolf existence." He added.

"I'm sorry" I said feeling awkward.

"Too late now Son what's done is done. What is this girls name?" He returned to a business like tone.

"Charlie Tudor" I answered as he jotted it down.

"Unusual name." He raised his eyebrow. "I will call the Elders now and deal with it." He told me.

I stood to leave "Emmett" he called me and I turned in the doorway. "Do me a favour, until this is straightened out you and Adam are to keep it in your pants" he added. "Alpha's orders" I left closing the door.

I wandered through the pack house looking for Adam. Titan was whining in my head for Charlie and his offspring. I ignored the smiles and flirtatious eyes of all the she wolves. None of them compared to Charlie. I could feel an overwhelming desire to be near her. I ran my hands through my hair as I informed my Beta of the situation and then passed on what my father had ordered.

"Shit what did I do" Adam yelled at me when I told him about my fathers orders for him to also refrain from sleeping around.

"Oh right that's all your worried about" I snapped

"No dude, I'm sorry you got into this but you liked her and you pined over leaving her so I fail to see how this is a bad thing. You wanted her back and this is certainly a way to keep her in your life." He scoffed.

I flung myself on the sofa. There was a girl out there carrying my pup, I was going to be a father. It was all too much Titan howled in my mind.

"let me out, let me run" he pleaded.

"Adam let's go I need to let Titan run off the tension." We went outside and shifted into our Wolves Titan was a large majestic jet black wolf, he towered in sature above other wolves. Adams wolf Idol was not as tall or broad as Titan he was a Tan colour wolf matching Adams sandy blonde colouring. After shifting I raced into the dense forest that led to the mountains. Idol followed at my side.

**Alpha Williams POV**

After Emmett left I shook my head many an Alpha males wolf libido got him in trouble but impregnating a human was an unusual and unforeseen misfortune but by no means terrible after all it was how most of the Alpha blood lines had reduced over the years. I took a breath and dialled the Elders. Having explained the situation the Elder Jones paused.

"We agree its in the best interest of the species for you to take her into your pack and have your pack Dr deal with her pregnancy." He answered.

"Thank you" relief washed over me

"Alpha Williams who is this girl for our records please?" He finally added.

"Charlie." I read off the paper I had written her name down on "Charlie Tudor"

"Charlie Tudor?" He responded.

"Yes I believe so." I was now confused by his tone.

"Don't do anything I'll be in touch" he abruptly hung up.

I placed my head on my desk.

"What the f*ck is going on."

** Charlie pov **

"Pregnant?" Sasha gasped. "Shut the f*ck up!" She added more loudly. One of the bar patrons looked our way.

"Shush" I muttered "Its not common knowledge" I hissed.

"Are you sure?" Sasha hissed back.

"Yea I'm sure, but I've a Dr's appointment next week to confirm. Its just weird" I added.

"Weird?" She looked confused.

"Well I'm what four maybe five weeks pregnant tops I shouldn't even be noticing it yet." I responded.

"Yea, and?" She prompted.

I lifted my top and showed her my round pot belly

"I'm in stretchy pants already at this rate I'll be a f*cking house in nine months. " I grumbled.

Sasha burst out laughing I flashed her daggers. My phone beeped and I pulled it out.

"Lover boy, the father of the fruit of your loins?" Sasha smirked

"Worse." I muttered. "Its my father he's coming to visit me tomorrow."

The smirk left Sasha's face now

"Shit" she looked at me.

"I'm twenty one years of age not much he can do about it." I replied in a false bravado tone.

"Absolutely your a grown woman. You've done nothing wrong" she nodded.

"Shit he is going to flip out" I added my false tone slipping. Both Sasha and I were fully aware of my fathers ability to control everything and everyone around him. Meaning I grew up in a very sheltered upbringing.

Sasha nodded in sympathy. "Yup who are we kidding the most strict man I know is going to murder you."

I put my head in my hands. My father was a kind but strict man with a strong presence. My grandfather was worse I was only praying he wasn't on the trip as bad as my father was my grandfather was worse. "Lets hope my Grandfather isn't with him" I said to Sasha.

"Oh please god let Grandpa Tudor be torturing someone else." She nodded in agreement.

*Emmett POV *

There was some excitement in the pack when I woke the next morning when I entered the pack dining room apparently according to Adam Elder Jones and an unknown Elder had been escorted from the territory gates to meet my father. I sat down and as I was about to place the piece of pancake in my mouth my father mind linked me

"My office now."

I dropped my fork. Adam heard the mind link too and stood along side me.

"Duty calls" I sighed as we left the dining hall .

**Alpha Williams POV**

"Welcome Elder Jones" I warmly stood to greet my guests.

"Hello Alpha Williams I am sorry for the sudden intrusion but recent events are more complicated then they seem. I'd like to introduce you to High Elder Tudor." He added. I reached my hand out but he did not reach to shake it. I could feel his Alpha power along with his displeasure emanating from him.

"Tudor?" I raised an eyebrow quizzically.

"Yes Tudor" he snapped. "Your son defiled my granddaughter" he added.

"My son thought she was human." I began

"And" he interrupted. "Whats that got to do with his behaviour?"

"I believe it takes two to tango. The question here that's more pressing is why does your granddaughter live as a human and according to my Son she has no identifiable scent? What the hell is going on?" At that moment Emmett and Adam entered the office. Elder Jones signalled for them to sit on the sofa.

"Ah perfect timing please sit and High Elder Tudor will continue the explanation he was about to provide us with." He added as Adam and Emmett nodded silently. High Elder Tudor glared at Emmett but refrained from reacting and took a breath before starting his explanation.
