No Need

Lotus’ eyes reddened, her body trembled, her hand balled into a fist, and sad tears lingered in her eyes.

For three days now, Lotus has been locked in the guest room under Zaire’s order. She wasn’t even allowed to take a step out, and whenever Ava stepped in to serve the food, regardless of what question Lotus asked, Ava wouldn’t say a word and would bow apologetically instead.

All Lotus’ attempts to leave or escape from the guest room ended in naught. She yelled, she cried, she pleaded, and she threatened, but all of them went for nothing. The bodyguards didn’t budge.

Tears pooled in Lotus’ eyes, and a shaky smile appeared on her face. Even her phone turned useless, and her attempt to call people failed.

Zaire had interjected her network, which means that Lotus could only scroll through posts; Lotus couldn’t send a message, comment, upload a post, or call either.

And since then, Lotus has failed to catch sight of Zaire again.
