“The vote has been cast by the shareholders. It’s time to announce the result.” Secretary Max stood up and declared it, his voice resonating in the conference room. Immediately, he adjusted the glass on the bridge of his nose and strode to the podium calmly.

Two weeks ago, the board members voiced their concerns about the unfairness of Fickel Ludovic and his family being the ones to hoard all the top positions in the Ludovic companies after the chairman position.

The members finalized their conversations by asking that the positions be rearranged based on the votes of the shareholders or that Fickel’s family be removed from their positions altogether.

Chairman Ludovic and Fickel directly agreed to the voting of the board members, which was the reason votes were cast.

Oliver Ludovic leaned back in his chair smugly with squinted eyes, drumming lightly with a meaningful smirk plastered on his face. But in the next few minutes, the smug expression was replaced with feigned innocence.
