Upon seeing how things played out, Lotus' eyes widened in shock. Just like that? Zaire was willing to let her go. Even though Zaire liked Lotus so much and his ego was in line?

Upon seeing Zaire twist the doorknob, Lotus quickly snapped out of her thoughts. She stood up from the bed and ran to Zaire. Immediately, she wrapped her hands around him from behind.

Lotus' eyes pooled with tears upon realizing how much Zaire must like her for him to choose to walk away even though he could threaten her or use his power to tie her down.

"You silly person, how can you let go like that? Didn't you threaten me? Didn't you declare that I'll only belong to you this lifetime?" She sniffed pitifully and whispered in a trembling voice.

Although he was considerate of her feelings, she can't help feeling bad. Then what if she was a heartless woman? What would have happen
