After finishing their meal at The Gourmand, the Callahans left in a daze.

Belinda had ripped the bandages off Thea’s face. After leaving The Gourmand, James took Thea back to Common Clinic, where he started to prescribe some medicine for her again.

Thea sat down, looking at the VIP card that was made of diamonds. Then, she looked at James, who was absorbed in his task. She was dazed. Whatever happened today still felt surreal.

She did not know Bryan Grayson.

Yet Bryan Grayson had given her a diamond card.

The diamond card had several privileges, including a ninety percent discount and three free chances to dine in The Gourmand every month. How was it different from eating for free?

Soon, James had come up with a concoction.

“Thea.”

“Yeah?” Thea jerked back to reality.

James said, “Come on. Let’s apply some medicine to your wounds. I’m sorry for what happened today. You only got humiliated because I left. I promise it won’t happen again.”

what the heck Thea moms a nasty hateful person I understand family ties but can't Thea stand up for herself and James. These story's are all the same man's famous girls trying to hard and is a whimp family's hateful and the both of them take it. I understand this is from a different culture .

Again, how old is Thea? if she can put two and two together when it comes to James, why can't she do that to everyone else around her and stand up for her self?
