Chapter Twenty Five

Jasper received a call from his mother at work that his sister has been arrested for harassing someone, he didn't ask who it is yet. He hung up and barged into Raina's office. Raina was startled at the force with which he used to open the door.

"Quit barging into my office like that!" She yelled at him.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

"You're sorry? You're not going to say something arrogant? What's this about?" She asked noticing his bad mood.

"I need to take a few hours off. I'll be back soon I promise." He replied, hoping she won't force him to stay back. He doesn't want to show himself at the police station, now his sister got into trouble.

"Where are you going? At least give me a good reason why I should let you go." Raina inquired.

"I need to... I need to see my sister. She got arrested." Jasper told her the truth.

"Do you need help? I can call whoever is in charge and your sister will be released." She offered.

"Thank you Miss Williams, but I'll rather sort this out myself.
