At once, it was as if a bomb had blown up on the internet. Tens of thousands of fans left comments underneath their posts. They all wished them well.

"Oh god, my favorite couple is finally together! Please get married now!"

There were also plenty of fans who started rewatching Darren and Eunice's old variety show video clips.

"They're so in sync with each other! They belong together. This is the sweetest couple ever!"

"I agree! They should just get married now. They look so good together too! I'm in love!"

I read the comments and chuckled coldly. Then, I called up Darren's number at once.

"Hey, don't be such a meanie…"

As soon as the call went through, I heard the sounds of them making love with each other and panting. The call ended after just a few seconds.

I was disgusted and angry. That night, I immediately posted a photo of our marriage cert to prove that we were married.

The next day, I booked the next flight home. I wanted to see just how much longer Darren was going to continue with his act once I was back.

However, my Twitter blew up overnight. Suddenly, I'd made the headlines too. The top trending search read "Shameless woman fakes marriage cert with A-list actor Darren Miles".

Less than ten minutes later, Darren posted his reply on Twitter. He admitted that he used to date me, but we had already broken up on good terms. In fact, he was now wholeheartedly pursuing Eunice, and Eunice only.

Thousands of fans left comments under his latest post. Most of them were cursing at me.

"How shameless! They'd already broken up and she still went and doctored the cert! She's so disgusting!"

"She's so shameless to the point it's hilarious. GTFO and stay away from Darren! He deserves better!"

"Darren doesn't love you anymore, so just get out of his life!"

As soon as I'd gotten off the plane, Darren called. He told me to meet him at the mansion.

However, I'd just received news of a last-minute engagement at the company, so I had to head over first. I only went to the mansion after I was done with work and it was close to midnight.

I thought that Darren wouldn't have waited up for me. To my surprise, he had actually waited for me all day at the mansion.

I walked through the door to see him sitting on the living room couch. When he saw me, he immediately started to bombard me with questions. "It's already way past midnight! Why are you so late?"

I was already exhausted from the sudden overtime work I had to put in. However, as soon as I sat down on the couch, he'd already started questioning me. Angrily, I snapped back, "You're the one who cheated, so why are you making such a huge fuss? You should be thankful that I'm even here in the first place!"

As soon as he heard me call him a cheater, he froze for a split second. After recollecting his thoughts, he softened up and tried to justify himself. "I'm an award-winning A-list actor now, so you're not a good fit for me anymore."

"Oh? Not a good fit? What do you mean? I think it's still fine."

"Hah!" Darren looked at me in ridicule and said, "I am an A-lister, with tons of branding deals and a net worth of more than a billion dollars. But you're just a manager at work! I'm too good for you now!"
