Edric’s POV:

“King,” Winston says. “We have to go back in there. Tell her.”

“Yes.” Deimos fusses and screeches. He may not be able to tell me what he wants yet, but he’s definitely making sure everyone understand that he’s very upset. “And you want your mom, I know.”

I don’t want to go back in there. I know I’m being a coward, but I don’t know how I’m supposed to tell her that she’s not sixteen, and her parents kicked her out of their home almost six years ago, that she’s a mated werewolf with a baby on the way. Where do I even begin?
