Halfway path

Rose notice that her son didn't wake up even if it's late in the morning she knocked on the door several times till she try to turn the doorknob lucky that Mike did not lock his room and Rose was shocked at what she see there on the table where Mike napping with blood flow from his nose scattering in a table.

Immediately Rose call an ambulance he rushes in hospital un-conscious an hour later his stepbrother John went to his room to clean the table and floor John notice something that he has never seen before it's a picture of Augustine together with Alice in a park.

But John tries to ignore it as he didn't know much about Mike but he can't stop, Without knowing that the child he sees and a girl is Mike's son Augustine and wife Alice.

John keeps staring at Augustine's eyes because he observes that there is something the way it smiles and the shape of his head also the lips it almost same like Mike and he tries to recognize the girl which is Alice later of thinking John just ignore it and think maybe they are just cousins or siblings from the side of his mother and he continues to clean.

While hospital where Mike gained consciousness as he opened his eyes nobody there in a room then suddenly Angel entered bringing bags of food including medicine and his favorite soup then she touches Mike's head and kiss" love.. Your mother texted me that she can't be with you this whole night that's why she request me to be with you just this night no worries okay she is just busy I think."

Then she gives a tight hug to Mike.

 The reason why Rose can't be with Mike for a whole night to care she's just want to drink till getting drunk because of the mortifying result of Mike's health as what the doctor said a big chance that Mike disease will ravage his body in a short period the doctor also estimates that this will only take seven or eight years and assuring that while living with this disease he will suffer in hospitalization and several operations meanwhile John is almost done cleaning in Mike's room he then notices the tenth letter inserted in flower vase he picked it up because John is curios.

"why this envelope is color black and the number ten is gold not sealed and there's a thick paper inside okay I will read it for a while."

As John opened the letter and started to read he was unsurprised because the content of the letter is just an introduction saying "Dear the love of my life Angel" Then he tatter the letter and throw in the garbage because for him it's nothing just a piece of trash.

 While in the hospital where Mike slowly retrieved as he wake up he see Angel fall asleep in his sidearm then he touches her forehead and arrange the hairs to the side of her ears so that he can stare at Angel like stars in the night suddenly his few tears appears he smile while saying this.

"love soon if I leave in this world I want you to know that it's not my intention to leave if I were.. I'll be with you as I promise but I can't do nothing If it is my time if I'm gone I leave you to face the truth I love you three thousand times and if you will miss me just go where I lay you know I always listened and waiting you out of the blue."

Then Angel's phone ring he then quickly wipe his tears and act nothing before she will wake up it seems that Angel is sleeping very well he waked her up anyway.

As she wake up and then answer the phone call "hello oh, yes he's okay you want to talk to him? Okay hey, love your mother want to talk to you."

And Mike just looked at Angel back to her phone and denies "if she wants to talk with me, not on call I prefer in-person." As Angel heard this from Mike she wants to force him to talk a little bit to his mother "hey mom, I think Mike is not in a mood to talk to you in the phone but anyway what you want to say to him?  Okay, are you sure? Okay bye."

It was his mother who called to Angel because Rose just wants to assure that he is okay and she keep on thinking that maybe Mike will ask for some paper result of his health even though she told the doctor to keep the result and she will keep the paper results her point is to tell this in a month later, Angel is kept staring to Mike and she asks.

"hey, love I don't know what's wrong with you and your mother she wants to talk to you but you did not."

And suddenly a nurse came in to check Mike she brings a piece of good news that possible they can go out in three days later as his health signs pomp a good condition and Mike poised he closed his eyes and fantasize that Alice is with Augustine and she convinced him to join in the place where blue skies having many white clouds they lying in green grasses beside in a clear river where fishes are visible.

Then he smile Angel wondered when he sees Mike expression later for her maybe he was just calm and happy with the news he heard from a nurse as she stand to go in comfort room suddenly Mike opened his eyes and said "I'm almost halfway run."

Then he looked to Angel and smiles "what? Love, halfway to?" Angel asks with a mixed emotional face as she can't understand what he means then she just goes to the comfort room and Mike sleep while Angel is in the comfort room she can't stop thinking what Mike means 'I'm almost halfway run' although she tried to ignore it that maybe Mike was just joking or happy.
