Chapter FOUR: Her Deepest Surprise

Lucille couldn't stop quivering thinking that her secret must have been licked. She refused to look at the video because it was her morality that was at stake.

"Did they take a video of my sex with Kyle and send it to my father? No, I must think positively..."

The voice yelled again, this time around, louder than before which jolted Lucille from her thought.

"Are you deaf? Take a look at this video and give a coaxing explanation!"

Lucille gathered some strength to look at her dad, Mr. Carl whose eyes were widened as well as his wife, Rose who gazed at Lucille disappointedly.

After seeing the video of her bachelorette party, Lucille took a deep sigh because it wasn't her sex tape.

Rise noticed the relief in Lucille's mind and inquired

"Why such a sigh of relief? Tell me, did you do something worse than this?"

Lucille shook her head negatively to the question. Then she gazed at Rhea, this is her handwork for sure.

"Tell me, was this the wedding gown selection you went for? You attended a bachelorette party to find new men?"

"No, Dad. How many times do I have to say that I will marry Bryan? I'm keeping my word and not doing anything..."

Lucille responded to her father when Rose uttered

"You better be sure that you're not seeing another man aside Bryan! We can't afford to lose this contract "

Rhea grinned at Lucille who said

"I know, Mother, you want the best for our families"

"Dad, we shouldn't judge Lucille! She only wanted to play the game that all the ladies engaged in. It's her last day as a sinister so she deserved a celebration!"

Rhea said and hugged Mr. Carl. Rose and Carl walked away and Lucille turned to Rhea

"I know that you sent that video to Mom and Dad just to make me look bad in their eyes!"

Rhea smiled at Lucille and said

"Bryan was supposed to be mine but you were chosen to be his wife instead of me! I will do everything to win him back!"

"But we will be getting married today!"

Lucille dashed back at Rhea who burst into laughter.

"I thought you were smart? I never knew that you were a fool! So you think that Bryan is in love with you?"

"What do you mean?"

Lucille inquired and Rhea slapped herself instantly. Before Lucille could do anything, she hit her head on the nearest couch and blood started puffing out.

"What are you doing, Rhea?"

Lucille inquired and someone pushed her immediately from behind and rushed to Rhea.

When she stood up, she saw Bryan who carried Rhea on his arm and said to her

"Don't make the mistake of activating my hatred for you!"

He walked away immediately and Rhea smiled at Lucille. Lucille found all of Bryan's utterances mysterious. She had no option but to follow them to the hospital.

When she got there, Bryan was already in a good mood.

"Listen, Bryan..."

He used his index finger to cross her lips and said

"I believe you, Lucille"

He kissed her instantly. If Bryan wasn't mad at her, why did he sound so mad earlier? This is a question Lucille can't give a response to.

She asked Bryan to be home quickly as the wedding would be held in a short time.

Immediately she walked away, Bryan walked inside the ward where Rhea was and covered her lips with his mouth.

"I missed you, Rhea!"

He said and Rhea pushed him off.

"Calm down, Bryan. We are in a hospital, remember?"

Bryan smiled and Rhea added

"I like your actions earlier, you convinced that slut that you are not made at her"

"Anything for you, I can't wait to marry her and end all of my pretense!"

It was already time. Lucille had also been waiting for this day to finally come. It seemed as though it was the best day for Mr&Mrs Carl.

They forgot all of their grudges against Lucille and wished her a happy married life in advance.

When they left her room, Rose said to her husband

"Didn't I tell you that not revealing the truth to her will solve all these! Imagine if she knew that we are not her real parents, she wouldn't have consented to this marriage"

"That was very good of you, Rose. You are a professional in all these! Now, our darling daughter will be the main wife in the form of a side chick"

They both burst into laughter and walked away.

At the reception, Lucille walked down the aisle with a smile and happiness. As far as this will make her parents happy and also help their business, she gotta do it.

The best part of it all is that she loves the man she's been assigned to get married to. She smiled at Bryan while still walking down the aisle.

The priest said

"Miss Lucille Carl, do you accept Mr. Bryan Stone as your...."

"I do!"

Lucille responded and the same went for Bryan who also responded

"I do!"

"I now pronounce you both as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride"

The priest said and Bryan wasted no time in kissing Lucille. They locked lips as they sprained them some flowers.

Rhea walked to them and said

"Congratulations, Sis!"

She hugged her with her fake smile. Bryan saw his brother instantly and said

"Lucille, meet my brother..."

"Congratulations to you Lucci..."

Lucille turned and saw Kyle!
