Chapter 2

As Tanya walk to the sidewalk, she saw her reflection through the glass window of one of the stores she walks by.

Her eyes widened as she saw herself, her green eyes have a big dark circle under her eyes, her glossy black straight hair was unkempt. Seeing her messy appearance is.

She quickly put her hood to her head, covering her appearance. She walks to the bus station with her head lowered while her hand is inside the pocket of her jacket.

Tanya sat down at the window seat of the bus; she looks at the window as the bus went to their destinations. The bus stop at the hospital, Tanya exited the bus and walk toward the hospital.

Tanya went to the reception, the receptionist let Tanya enter. It’s already 5 pm when Tanya visited her sister, she looks at her sister through the window of the door before gently opening the door.

She saw her sister who is in a coma look like she’s sleeping peacefully, she sat down on the chair and look at the heart monitor with anxiousness in her heart.

“I’ll do anything to cure your sickness…” Tanya muttered with great pain in her voice, she covered her face with both of her hands as the elbow rested on the bed.

‘Kayla…you don’t know how much I wish to take away all your pain and put into mine’ she thought to herself as she places her head in Kayla’s hand.

Tanya’s expression was so haggard that her beauty was slightly affected. She took a look at Kayla’s face; she stretches out her hand and rub her cheek.

It took a long time for Tanya to stop looking at Kayla’s face, she looks at her watch and decided to leave as it’s already 6 pm.

Tanya stands up from her seat, leaned down, and kiss Kayla’s forehead before leaving her room and leaving the hospital to go back to their house.

Tanya opened the door then gently closed it; she then turns the lights on. The sudden brightness caused Tanya’s eyes to hurt making her squint her eyes before making her eye used to the light.

She took off her clothes and put them in the laundry bin as she removes the hair tie on her hair.

Tanya put her body in the bathtub and let her body relax as she closed her eyes, thinking about the bill of Kayla’s surgery.

After 10 minutes of soaking in the bathtub, a sudden call from her phone made Tanya open her eyes in laziness. She stretches out her hand to reach her phone, Tanya grabs her phone and answers the call while still in the bathtub.

Tanya didn’t see the caller’s name as she had just answered the phone. “Hello?” she spoke as she places her arm on the side of the bathtub, her hair is soaked and draped on her shoulder with some water droplets dripping to her face.

“Tanya, dear—” it was a middle-aged woman’s voice is in the other call, Tanya quickly hangs up the call as soon as the person’s voice enter her ears.

Her face was full of contempt as she looks at the unknown number, she blocks the number before placing it back in the drawer. Tanya’s mood for a bath was quickly ruined by that phone call.

She stands up from the bath, the water quickly drips down to her body to the water. Tanya got out of the tub and stand up from the floor, her body was covered by water droplets as her hair dripped water at end of her hair.

She took the towel and wipe her body with it, she wore the white robe and enter her room. Tanya walks toward her closet and took her puppy printed pajamas, she slowly wore her pajamas before going to the bed.

“Ugh…I don’t have an appetite for dinner” Tanya talks to herself as she opened her phone, she opened the pinstagram and look at the lesbian celebrity couples.

“Haaa...How nice of them” Tanya sighed as she mumbled to herself, she rolled over as she scrolled on the pinstagram, looking at the happy couples.

‘I wish I could find a rich woman to love me, of course not because of money that I need a rich woman’ she thought to herself as she saw a picture of a woman with silver hair wearing a branded suit, the woman in the suit looks very good and handsome on Tanya’s perspective.

Tanya scrolled for a long time, it her quite a while to look at the time, and decided to sleep. She put her phone on the nightstand, closes her eyes, and fell into a deep peaceful slumber.

Tanya didn’t have any dreams. She was woken up by her alarm clock, she reaches out her hand to her phone to turn off the alarm. She groans as she turns to the other side, it took her quite a while before she opened her eyes.

Tanya sat up from her bed, she scratches her head before letting out a yawn. She got up from her bed, she leaves her room, and went to the kitchen.

After Tanya took a quick shower, Tanya wore a white oversized t-shirt and beige knee shorts. She put her hair in a ponytail, with sneakers as her shoes.

Tanya took a backpack and swing it on her shoulder, she pulled the door handle of the entrance door, took a quick look at their messy house before closing the door, and walked.

She walks toward the bus station, she sat down at the nearest seat on the bus. At the bus stop at the 3^rd bus stop, Tanya got out of the bus and walk to the sidewalk.

Tanya walks for 15 minutes to reach the gambling house, she entered the building with a mask on her face.

The building is full of men and women gambling on the table while the others drink in the bar, on the right-side corner of the building there are two men fighting each other while the people who circled them watch as they fight.
