Alexa turned towards Nolan in bed and asked him a question she had been pondering for weeks now, "Nolan, can I ask you something?"

Nolan turned to face her, half expecting a teasing remark or a joke. However, he saw that Alexa was looking at him intently with a serious expression on her face. "Sure, shoot," he said, returning her gaze.

"How did you find out that you had feelings for me?" she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.
