Nolan sat at his desk, staring blankly at his computer screen. His mind was consumed with thoughts of Alexa, his assistant. She had just dropped a bombshell on him, saying that she wanted Evans to be her new boss. Nolan was shocked at her words, and he couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had been thinking about it after she said it and was very disturbed. He couldn't imagine working without her by his side.

"Nolan, are you okay?" Alexa's voice broke through his thoughts, and he looked up to see her standing at the door of his office. Her expression was worried as she studied him.
