Chapter 4: Wedding Night 1

##Chapter 4

Wedding Night 1

Michelle's POV.

“{Party B} must report to {party A} about everything going on with {party B} to {party A}. Don't fall in love, don't go near my room, don't do anything suspicious, {party A} judgment can't be questioned.”

“Are you trying to imprison me?” I scoffed, reading out the clauses. The ‘fall in love' part irritated me. I thought, ‘who does he think he is?’

“Mr Houston, I am not a child, this is not necessary, I think” I said, trying to convince him.

“So? Do you want me to change it?” He said with his cold gaze. “I am just saying, I don't have to do it.”

“Read the last clause, Miss Whitney” He motioned me to take the paper back.

“If {Party B} failed to act according to the contract, the family will suffer the consequences, and the deal will be revealed to the public” My jaw dropped reading it.

‘I am doomed!’ Then I realized I messed with the wrong guy. A man who has nothing to lose.

Then I realized the reason why he wanted to make the contract, I couldn't believe another Houston tricked me.

“Like I said early, there's no going Back Miss Whitney” he said with his corner lips curled up forming a smirk on his lips. “I don't have time to waste” he added, checking his wrist watch.

I knew I had no choice than to agree, I didn't want to be looked down on again by my family. They are all the same, but I decided to stick with the demon among them, at least he wouldn't fool me.

“I will do as you say” I said, reaching out to the pen on the table. I penned my signature on the paper. I felt the pen become heavy unlike the normal days. I knew the gravity of that one day signature, and the changes it can bring to my life.

Other brides are always happy in their wedding dress with their husbands, but I was signing a contract with my new husband in an unknown villa.

'Did I just end my dilemma?’ I thought after I finished signing the papers. “This will be notarized” he said, calling his secretary in to take the papers.

“Let's be good partners” I stretched my hand wanting to shake hands with him.

“I think you should change that dress of yours first” he said with a careless shrug, ignoring my hand like it was some virus.

“Oh…I didn't bring any clothes to change into, we left the hall in a hurry” I scratched the back of my neck embarrassingly.

He stood up leaving the house and I followed him. He stopped when he noticed I was walking behind him. “Did we still have something unfinished, Miss Whitney?”

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. 'What is he talking about? He brought me here' I mulled in my head.

“I don't understand yo__why are you following me?” I was talking, but he cut in with an unbelievable question.

“I don't know what to do, I don't know where we are, you brought me here, I can't stay here, take me home” I blurted.

“I have somewhere to go, my assistant will attend to you, and take you back to your household in this dress” he said, emphasizing on the dress.

“I__” I couldn't finish my words before he left. I sat down on the couch staring into space.

“Is this what I really want?”

***************************************************

Four hours have already passed, and Lucian's assistant hasn't shown up. I couldn't make any calls because I didn't have my phone with me, it was with my maid of honor, Bella.

'How could he leave a patient here alone?’ I thought.

I sat down beside the window helplessly looking at the sunset in my wedding gown. It was the silky, smooth collusion of skyburst reds and yellows into the calm of night. The majestic sun sets for the night and leaves the city under the reign of darkness to rule the roost.

I breathe heavily, I was literally abandoned in that Villa. Hours passed already, but I couldn't stop thinking about how I was betrayed by the man I loved the most, and how I almost got killed by my stepsister.

Thinking he plotted to marry me because he wanted me to sign my shares to my stepsister breaks my heart more. Making a deal with another Houston was scary to me more than facing my doom.

'Am I doing the right thing?’ I thought.

“Ptweuhhhhh!” My stomach made a funny sound and I realized I haven't taken anything yet. My body feels weaker because of the meds I took without eating.

Surviving comes first, I guess. I doubted there was something to eat in the house, but I decided to try my luck. I looked around looking for the kitchen, and luckily I found it easily.

I ran towards the refrigerator, and opened it hurriedly. “My ancestors must love me so much!” I giggled as I saw apples inside it.

I started eating the apple vigorously. I forgot my problems for a while eating the apple.

I wasn't satisfied with one apple, since there wasn't any other food inside the refrigerator, so I decided to eat another one, till I reached the sixth one. It was getting darker and there wasn't hope that he would come back for me so I decided to eat to my satisfaction.

My wedding night was a disaster. Other people enjoy their wedding night, but I was busy eating apples from someone's fridge like a petty thief.

It was dark and I didn't turn on the light, I depended on the light from the refrigerator only, since I ate directly from there.

But all of sudden I felt someone else's presence inside the kitchen. I was scared and wanted to make a movement but I was attacked before I could do anything.

“Ahhhhhhhhh! Help!” I screamed.
