The Ally

Axel turned off the radio, not wanting to disturb Aura who was sound asleep. He drove the car carefully, even slowing down to avoid waking Aura with any bumps. No wonder the car's speed now resembled that of a snail—so slow.

Axel repeatedly glanced at Aura's face, her eyes tightly closed. Quite captivated, as they say a woman's true beauty is revealed when they are sleeping or at least when they just wake up, right? And Axel had seen both.

Both were beautiful without a hint of makeup, and even when just waking up, Aura looked more beautiful and sexy with a bit of messy, but Axel liked it that way. It looked natural. No wonder Axel is fascinated.

Axel was startled when he realized his own thoughts just now.

"Beautiful? Like her? Fascinated? Is that wrong? I must be too tired, that's why I'm so confused like this!"

Yet, no matter how many times he denied it, Axel couldn't ignore the reality in front of him. The reality that was right there.

"Beautiful, but wh
