Screams echoed around me, people laughing, dancing and drinking as strobe lights flashed over Summer’s living room, which was converted to a stage. I tried to cover my ears, giggling when the hanging skeleton’s bones brushed over my head, trying to make my way through the sweaty, drunk teens towards the kitchen.

“Hey M!”

I rolled my eyes and turned around to see the familiar face that was stroked with black and white paint. “A skull? So original, Aaron.”

He checked me out, heat flooding my cheeks as I tugged at the little red skirt. “And you’re a hot demon or little red riding hood?”

I lowered the red hood and tightening the string around my neck, its silky cape fluttering against my thigh over the black stockings I wore. When I had donned the costume, it felt a little tight but also made me feel very, very sexy. I couldn’t wait to see his reaction when he finally sees me.
