Part Three
“I own you and all your pretty holes.”
29 - I’ll Do Anything
Cillian
Red coated my vision and with each stride, my grip tightened on Emma’s wrist. I didn’t want to hurt her damnit, but I couldn’t think.
The images of that perv’s hand on her back and frozen body kept flashing in my head, and it was enough for me to want to break something. Or someone.
“Give me the keys,” I barked at the driver and he scrambled from leaning on the car to giving me the keys.
“I can drive you—”
“You can leave,” I said, opening the passenger door for Emma. I couldn’t meet her eyes when she sat down, and I closed the door.
Exhaling sharply, I sat in the driver’s seat and started the engine. I didn’t tell her where we were going when I drove out of the driveway, away from her brother and the creep.
Bonus SceneChelsea “I knew my son had a good eye,” Sean’s mom, Julia, said, her warm smile making me blush. The whisper around the luxurious restaurant was quiet, the atmosphere ambient with warm lighting.Julia was closed off at first, but after our third meeting, she had approved of our relationship and kept doting on me. I was also horrified by the amount of expensive jewelry she had sent to me and my mom, calling it a small gift. I needed to sit down with Sean and talk with him. But he called it ‘motherly love.’ What kind of mother buys her might-be-future-daughter-in-law one million worth of jewelries? Just for fun?But Sean looked disappointed, mumbling she should have sent more. I had to put him on a kiss-ban for that. Just for ten seconds. “Of course, he has a good eye,” I replied to her and glanced at her handsome son sitting beside me. “He is your son, after all.” She let out a hearty laugh and said, “You can call me Amma now, okay? You will be a Tae soon.”My eyes wi
EpilogueSean “And do you plan to let her work? Let her do whatever she wants?” Maya, Chelsea’s scary friend, interrogated me in the kitchen as the guests mingled with each other. It had been a month since Jesse tried to threaten my girlfriend and she had stood up for herself. She had started freelancing and helping small businesses with marketing, branding, and design. I was glad she was enjoying her work since Paige had returned after her maternity leave. I nodded. “She’s already made designs for the new bakery opening down the street.” Maya was her childhood friend and the complete opposite of her, with a sharp look on her face. Chelsea had protective friends. She sighed and sipped on the drink. “I was joking about her finding a sugar daddy.” I raised my brow and glanced in the living room as our friends and family talked with each other over the jazz music. My chest felt warm seeing her laugh at something Emma had said, her blue eyes bright, matching with the dress I had boug
46 - RewardChelsea I was packing the last of my things from the apartment when the doorbell rang. Sean was going to pick me up after visiting his firm. Maybe he finished his work early? I opened the door and my heart dropped to my stomach. I wished I had checked the peephole before unlocking the door. “Fucking finally,” Jesse said harshly, making his way into the apartment and running his hand through his hair. “Do you know how hard it was to find you?”“What the hell are you doing here?” I crossed my arms. I didn’t want him to see how uneasy I was in his presence. Rory was out, and I was alone in the apartment. With my ex. I hoped Sean would come early. He stalked around the hall and chuckled, rolling his eyes. “I’m here to get you back. What else?” He tilted his head. “Why did you block my number, huh?”I frowned at him. “Because you were being an asshole, sending me those creepy texts. I don’t care why you’re here, but you need to leave. My boyfriend is on his way.” I opened
45 - Daddy’s HungryChelsea My skirt rode up to my bum, making me bite my lip. A whistle made me stand up straight and glare at the man I loved. “You come here often?” Sean asked, teasing me from the bed. It had been a week since he was shot, and after settling into the penthouse, I had promised to take care of him. I wish I hadn’t. Because Sean was annoyingly pouty and a filthy pervert. He was the worst patient ever. After helping him bathe or shower, he would demand me to sit on his face so he could feel better about his pain or ask me to give him a hand job or a blow job. One time, he even asked me if he could fuck my tits. If it weren’t for his scar, I would think he was enjoying being a patient and asking for my help in everything. Brushing his teeth, feeding him, helping him wear boxers, applying skincare, shaving his stubble and even helping him drink water. I ordered a Stanley cup for him so he would stop acting like a spoiled child. “If you hit on me one more time,” I
44 - Sex-BanChelsea My heavy eyelids closed on their own. My head dropped, but I jerked myself awake, squirming in the chair. I eyed the yarn in my lap and sighed. I couldn’t focus on crocheting and kept getting frustrated with a loop. I fought off a yawn, keeping my drowsy eyes on Sean. His heart rate seemed normal. Keeping away the yarn, I leaned close to hold his hand, stroking his bruised knuckles. He had gotten shot because the man who had kidnapped me wanted to shoot me. But Sean had covered me, taking the bullet in his back and passing out. He was wearing a bullet vest under his shirt, but the bullet grazed the edge of the vest and caught him in the shoulder. Sean passed out from the blood loss because it nicked a major vein. Thankfully, we had reached the hospital in time, and Cillian told me Sean was a hard-ass—his words, not mine—so he’d heal in no time. I would believe it when I see it. It had been two hours, but he hadn’t opened his eyes. It was half-past nine, and
43 - You’re SafeSean My face remained stoic as one of Cillian’s men drove the car full of armed men. We were going to the location to meet the loan sharks who had kidnapped Chelsea and threatened to hurt her. It’s my fault. I should have followed her to the parking lot. I knew how unsafe the area she lived in was. I hadn’t thought that they would come to kidnap her if they didn’t get her father. I was too arrogant, thinking they’d never be able to hurt her if I was with her. Marie, her mom, was safe, but in a panicked state. She had told me they both had a fight and then two men in masks kidnapped Chelsea. She scratched one of the men, but they easily pushed her off, driving away in a dark SUV. I was going to kill them. They had stolen what was mine, and I would make them pay for it. “Don’t act too rash,” Cillian’s voice rumbled through my earpiece. He was in another car with the FBI so they could arrest everyone running the illegal operations. “I’m a lawyer,” I replied to him
