Chapter 04— Meeting with him.

~MERRY POV~

I turned back to run away from the place when my eyes captured the beautiful personality coming out of the shop.

Oh my goodness!

He was the same boy who was with me in my last night's dream—we met in an accident together.

What is his name, again?

YES, JULIAN! 

The grocery bags fell down on the ground from my hand as I watched him start to come in my way.

I stepped back!

Everything is happening in the same way as what I saw in my dream!

I grabbed my head as soon as it started to spin!

I couldn't help but sigh while trying to hold myself tight.

He stopped in the place and pulled his phone from his pocket before keeping it in his ear—I guess he got a call.

I slapped myself to snap out of it and thought about leaving the area to change my fate.

    "Merry, grip yourself!" I yelled inside while shaking my head.

    "I'll die in an accident in this place—what if I leave this place?" I questioned myself while trying to analyse my accident.

      "Yes, if I go out of this place, the location will change, and I can turn in my little-fate direction." I turned back to run from my death, but something stopped me after taking three steps.

How could I run, abandoning him behind me?

I turned back and looked at Julian!

If I run from my fate, then Julian will die in this place; he will have to pay the consequences of messing up the future. 

I can't let him die.

      "You should think about yourself right now, Merry!" My brain yelled at the top of my lungs.

     "No, Merry, so far you have saved many lives with your ability; now if you run away from here, then you become the murderer of his life." My heart argued back.

     "Who cares?" 

   "Merry, think about your mother; if anything happens to you, she will die along with you because all she has is you in her life.

You're the reason for her living!" My brain started taking control over me—yes, it's damn right! 

For my mother, I am only her family—she cannot tolerate the pain if anything happens to me.

I can't leave her alone.

    "Yes, Merry, you have made a great decision; now run for your life!" My brain took control of me, forcing me to step back one after another!

     "REMEMBER, HUMANITY IS TO HELP OTHERS!

I WANT YOU TO FIGHT WITH YOUR PROBLEM INSTEAD OF RUNNING LIKE A COWARD." My mother's words echoed into my ears, making me stop once again from running away from the place!

My mother taught me to fight, but not to run away like a coward with my problem. 

I have been fighting with my problems since now; how can I be selfish today?

This is not me!!

      "Yes, Merry, fight with your fate!" My heart said while giving me strength, Core! My heart yelled inside me. 

   "HOLY CRAP!" I closed my eyes and yelled inside.

For the first time, my heart and brain were going in two different directions!

I looked at Julian, who was standing a few centuries away from me!

I decided to listen to my heart!

Hey, boy, I am going to protect both of us!

I approached him while taking long strides before grabbing his wrist with my hand.

I couldn't help but notice how his green-green piercing eyes met mine with a mix of curiosity and surprise.

He was tall with broad shoulders that complemented his well-built physique. 

He was wearing a white full-sleeved shirt that was perfectly fitted against his biceps, accentuating his muscles. 

I estimated his height to be around 195cm, which made him quite impressive.

As I looked at him from head to toe, I couldn't help but admire his chiselled nose, smooth porcelain skin, and green-piercing eyes that looked so sexy and mysterious. 

His dress did nothing to hide his gym-built muscles, which were quite evident even through his shirt.

I can tell that he is a man of wealth and power, perhaps a billionaire; by the way, he carried himself with such confidence and poise. 

The beard around his face looks so hot—it covers a few of his portion of lips, and his lips look so tempting in a thin layer.

I found myself drawn to them—he is so damn sexy.

At that moment, I realized that he was much more handsome than I had ever imagined in my dreams.

I blinked my eyes as soon as reality hit my head—I couldn't let my attraction distract me. 

I can praise his beauty later as well, but for now, I need to protect both of us. 

      "What happened?" His husky voice gave me a chill down my spine while waking me up from my unconscious!

    "We need to get out of here!" I said this while taking rapid breaths.

     "I know we are late, but I have pending work to complete here!" He replied in a causal tone 

    "I'll request you to go and wait for me in the car!" He said this while wearing the sunglasses on his face.

Wait a second! 

Why is he talking to me as if he knows me?

    "Do you know me?" I asked while losing my patience!

He scanned me from head to toe before sharing a look with me.

   "Silly!" He scoffed instead of giving me the right answer.

He was placing his one hand inside his pocket, gesturing about his classy attitude!

He was laughing for sure, but I couldn't feel any purity behind those giggles—his laugh was dark!

It looks like he doesn't laugh at all. 

Oh my goodness, Merry C'mon, grip yourself over this man!

I'll cut the nonsense and come to the point.

  "We'll die if we stay here!" 

   "What?" His dark giggles stopped, and he looked straight into my eyes!

    "If we stay in this place, we will die!" I yelled at the top of my lungs while making him look at me with wide eyes.

     "Did you lose your nuts?" He pointed his finger towards the brain.

       "You think I'm joking around with you, damnit?" I gritted my teeth while stepping close to him and looking into his eyes!

    "Of course, you are joking, goddamnit!" 

  "Why would we die?" He stepped close while dominating me with his height.

   "I know we have a lot of enemies who are trying to push us down, but we've come far from them now!”

Do we have enemies? What the hell is he talking about?

Did he leave his brain in his house?

I think he is crazy!

Oh my goodness, Jesus, what are you doing with me? 

     "I have arranged tight security around us!"

   "My guards are standing at every corner to protect you and me!” He stepped close to me while reducing the gap between us and moving his finger around the place.

I looked around the place; I was not sure, but there were so many men standing in every corner, wearing white-black suits!

    

  "So, you don't need to be scared of anything; we are safe!” He grabbed my shoulder while making me look at him.

There is confidence in his eyes, telling me to keep safe!

Does he even know that we are going to die?

Does he have any special ability like mine to see the future?

Whatever, I don't care! 

   "Look, mister, I don't know who you are!" I pushed him back while placing my hand on his chest.

    "Don't you know who I am?" He scoffed before laughing like a devil.

It was so rude!

     "We need to get out of here!" I grabbed his hand when he looked at me with arrogance.

      "I can't leave you alone—we have to avoid this accident."

   "We have to change our own future!” I pressed my forehead with the thumb when I started to have the headache.

      "Let's get out of here before we meet in an accident!" I said everything in one breath while grabbing his wrist. 

He opened his mouth to say something before a sweet voice echoed behind him.

    "Julian, what are you doing there?" The voice made both of us look behind him.

My eyes widened as soon as I found my face in front of me.

Wait a second! I mean, there is a girl who looks like me!

Julian turned back when we shared a look with each other!

     "WHO ARE YOU?" Before I could reply, a weapon sound echoed around the place while shaking us!

      "VICTORIA!" Julian yelled at the top of his lungs while looking at her.

    "Victoria?" I looked at her with wide eyes—the bullet straight stabbed on her shoulder. 

     "Aaahhhh!" The other bullet hit her head while dripping blood out.

    "Oh my god!" I closed my eyes for a second when Julian's voice echoed into my ears.

The people around me started running from here and there.

The men who were with Julian shielded them while protecting them from future danger!

A random person hit my shoulder while running from the place, which made me fall to my knees.

My eyes are not taking off from the girl, Victoria!

Her body is filled with blood.

      "Victoria, open your eyes!" Julian shouted while tapping her cheek with his hand.

She was taking rapid breaths, and before she could close her eyes, she shared a look with me.

Who are these two people?

Why does this girl look like me? 

HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!
