ARYA

OMG! What was that?

My heart leaped from my chest when the man was about to open the drawer where my panties were placed!

"Hey!" I shouted then quickly approached him and swatted his hand.

I had a mini heart attack when the dog with them suddenly barked.

"Don't you know the word privacy?" Zanaya's voice prevailed as she came out of the bathroom. She was already wearing our uniform.

"Even if you still have a permission letter, you shouldn't tamper with our things. Ask the owner first if you wanted to know what's inside it!"

That's right, Zanaya. Preach these bastards.

"Sorry, miss. We're in a hurry," the agent apologized.

"My panties were placed there," I said simply and opened it for them to find out.

I noticed that Zanaya was holding back her laughter next to me.

She even managed to laugh.

Because they did not find what they wanted, the police men left.

"Something valuable was missing. I

CHRISThe stone was still missing until now. It's been a week since we found out that it was nowhere in sight. I think this was the highlight of the chaos caused by JDC.We were currently in the dorm. In my dorm to be specific. These two have nothing to do so they decided to mess up my weekend instead."Only twenty suspects!" Dave exclaimed."We need to narrow it down until 10," I suggested."I think JDC has many accomplices, he couldn't just execute his plans without the help of someone else," Eroll mused as he jingled the coins inside his pocket.Right.It was kind of boring these past few days. We did nothing but listen to the boring lectures of our professors. It's disturbing because nothing silly happened. It was like JDC was brewing something and he would strike when we're not ready. It's what I feared the most."Dudes! Let's go out... I feel like boredom would suffocate me here in Chris's dorm. All I could

CHRISDave slowly opened the door and we were greeted by the sight of a the boy lying on the floor, sound asleep. He made blankets and pillows from some clothes. We also noticed that he changed clothes. We saw his used clothes next to him. It was still a bit wet due to the heavy downpour of rain last night. That's why some stocks of clothes in the room were also wet because of this child."So, it wasn't a robbery case after all," Dave said disappointedly."It's Wilma's son who has been missing!" the old man exclaimed. Then he turned to us."I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you very much for finding my sister's grandson."We bid farewell after that and went back to the dorm. No one spoke between us.I guess they thought that the case would have been more exciting. Well at least, we found the missing kid.****Monday. We were all in the classroom listening to Miss Avi's lecture when Mrs. Roque came in."M

ZANAYA"Zanaya, come back here! I haven't fixed your hair yet!" Arya shouted and chased after me when I was at the door.I turned to her and raised an eyebrow. "There's no need to do that! I'll be fine, Arya."When I told her about the blue envelope, she became agitated and didn't seem to know what to do."I'm just concerned. I was worried because this might be the last time that I could see you."I smiled at what she said. She's a good friend. I'm lucky to have her."Don't worry, I'll be back. I haven't done anything wrong so I don't have to be worried about meeting the head master for the first time."I have a feeling that the Head Master and I were going to discuss about the Sleuth's Tournament. I haven't done anything wrong so definitely I wouldn't get expelled.I went to the Head Master’s office after I talked to Arya.I knocked three times on the door, but no one opened it. I slowly pushed it and I was

ZANAYAI knew it. This was his reason. That tournament wasn’t bad either. It would be a new experience. Now that mama and papa knew that I'm here, I could do what I wanted. Which means I could join the tournament without getting worried of being caught by them.I took a deep breath before I replied, "Okay, I will join that tournament.""That's a good choice, Reign. The team needs your skills. Good luck. You'll start training tomorrow."I came out from the office feeling like I was floating. Who would have thought that my former piano tutor was now a head master? And the worst was, he's a Zyfford and his brother was Dave."Zanaya!"Someone called my name but I lazily turned around. The caller pulled me over and faced me.Chris called me."Why?" I asked. Arya and I were now getting along with the E4 and Chris was my closest friend of them all. I'm comfortable with him because we have the same passion. Jus

ARYAMy fellow students were looking at me as I walk along the hallway to the Simulation Room.I was wearing a blue vest with the Sleuth’s Tournament logo printed on it. It was a proof that I am among the representatives of our academy who would go to war. Oh well it's not a war, it's a competition for the Detectives. In short, for the smart.I also couldn’t quite figure out why I was on the team. I'm not smart though. My eyes darted around and noticed that I was actually the one the students were looking at.Maybe it’s because I’m beautiful. Or maybe it's because of my get up now.I'm already part of the the team, so this wass supposed how we look. Before I could open the door of the Simulation Room, a man approached me and left in my hands a folded piece of paper.I looked at the paper but when I was about to ask the man, he was no longer in front of me. He disappeared

ARYAIt was about ten o'clock so we searched for Mrs. Roque. It was said that the training would start so we all went straight to the Simulation Room.A moment later, the door opened and Mrs. Roque walked inside along with my sister. They stood in the middle as we sat in the reserved seats."This would be the start of your training. First, you need to undergo a team-building to improve the cooperation in your group," Prof. Darlene began."That's why, you're going to the Zyfford forest now. We have prepared logic puzzles there that you need to answer in order for you to find your way out. You need to cooperate because you only have two hours to do the challenge," my sister Avi added. The four of us followed them into the forest. It's not that far. When we reached the entrance, Prof. Darlene faced us."At the end of this forest, you could see the road leading to the faculty, let's just meet there. This was just a mini f

ARYAWhen would these logical questions end?I am tired."What goes up and never comes down?" Zanaya read the clue. This friend of mine was not obviously haggard. As for me, I'm sweating profusely.I pondered the answer to that question."Sus! Basic. Age is the answer there," I replied confidently.Zanaya laughed."Okay, let's say age is the answer, but how's that, where's the next clue there?" Chris queried. How was that? I'm hungry."The device! Let's input our age on the device," Zanaya exclaimed."Let's add all our ages, then input it on the device. But how's that? What's the next clue?" Dave asked this time. He also seemed to be bored."Let's just try," Zanaya insisted."Hey, Lopez, we can't try everything just because it's possible. Will you please use your brain sometimes.""There's no harm in trying! DAVEUnbelievable. We were all probably thinking the same thing as we were inside the infirmary after we discovered that the culprit in the mess in our training was none other than Monica.I didn't want to believe. That could not be done by a quiet and modest person like Monica. I've known her for how many years and I have never ever imagined that she would commit such cruel things. She couldn't do that to Lopez. In fact she's the reason why we were able to get along with the two. Though, there's still a gap between Reign and I, but that's our issue and it's for us to solve alone. The two of them get along and I knew that they consider each other as friends. So it was surprising that Monica's name was involved in an incident. And they also have an evidence. If Reign woke up later, I just don’t know what will be her reaction."That's not true!" Chris snarled. We all looked at him. This was the only time I

ZANAYAI repeatedly called Dave as he ran after the man wearing a hoodie.I could do nothing, but follow them too.We arrived at the airport near the victim's house and the chase took us all the way inside, to the comfort room of the airport. We saw the suspect went inside the CR, but he suddenly disappeared from our sight."Where is he now?" Dave asked. He was still gasping for breath. In the hallway of the CR, six people came out.First was a civilian-- a man, quite tall, carrying a suitcase and wearing a brown jacket, and eyeglasses, and he also looked sweaty.I immediately cornered him so that he wouldn't go away. I showed him my ID as a detective so that he would cooperate.Later, a woman also wearing a jacket, tall, somewhat stout, and somewhat dark, came out of the CR. There was another girl with her and she

ZANAYAI was running...Again.But this time, I was not running away from him. I am actually running towards him."Hey, Zyfford!" I called him.He immediately turned to me. One of his eyebrows was raised while holding the papers that had been scattered earlier on the floor."You got something there?" he questioned.I approached him and held my phone in front of him showing the evidence I captured from the crime scene. His eyebrows knitted in confusion. "And what should we do with a letter to a family?"I clicked my tongue. It looked like the great Dave Zyfford lost his touch on Detective works."Duh. It could be a great help for us to solve the case," I stated in a matter of fact tone."Babe, you've got to be kidding me," he said which mad

"What's this?""Open it, quick!""Wow, ha! You're even more excited, Eroll," Arya commented. Eroll clearly ignored Arya's remark and just stared at the box as if anticipating it to explode or whatever. This better not explode or else I would throw it at Eroll's face."Open it," Chris urged with a smile.I shrugged my thoughts away and I began opening it. I was surprised when I saw a calculator inside. It

ZANAYAI stopped my car at the place where he currently stays. It's the place where I wouldn't even thought of visiting, but here I am inside the car, contemplating whether to get out or drive away and hide again. However, I kept on reminding myself for how many times that there was no room for cowardice. I needed to face my past so that I could move on towards my future. The things that happened to me a year ago were incomparable. It was an experience that was worth sharing as it had impacted my whole life to become the person I've become today. Life had made me tougher. It made me realized that truth always prevail no matter how much effort we exerted just to hide it. I've learned that trust was such a precious thing you could give to anyone. Trust was fragile too. It's delicate. If it was broke once, it would be hard to glue the broken pieces together.I let out a sigh. This is it.I pushed the door and got out of the car. Now,

Eroll inquired another student."My group and I are in the Cafeteria," the girl replied nonchalantly. She seemed to not care that she's one of the suspects and clearly unbothered by what's happening. Either she's not involved or she's just good at hiding emotions.Eroll continued to ask questions until he reached the frowning man who had been suspicious to me ever since I saw him."I'm in the lobby too," he replied sparingly. He and Eroll even held eye contact for a while before the latter averted his gaze to us.We sorted the students who we

"I'm done!"After saying that, I pinched her nose and ran to the door while laughing so hard. She groaned audibly as she tried to catch up."Is everything complete?" Dave asked who was seemingly bored judging by his usual dull eyes."Aye! Aye! Captain," Eroll replied playfully. They started walking towards the car.Today, we were invited for a case. There were no traces of blood on our way anymore so we didn't know which part of the academy where Zanaya was taken. Our only hope was the MRF. I really she's safe there. When we saw the MRF, the two of us hid in an acacia tree to wait for Dave.Soon, we heard the approaching footsteps of the three men."We think Zanaya was right there!" Monica whispered to the them."Look, the MRF has a secret passageway out of the academy, and I think that's the reason why JDC decided to stay right there," Dave explained. "I asked my father's men to guard all the exits, including the exit in that MRF room, so Nico could not escape, unless he creates another chaos.""We also have back-up policemen, if we haven't gotten out of the MRF within ten minutes, they will come in and

ARYAWe hurried up the stairs to the second floor where the Control Room was located. Monica and I accompanied some rescuers to rescue Zanaya who was inside. Dave with Eroll and Chris were outside and were also looking for JDC aka Nico.Who would have thought that the venerable Student Council President was the mastermind of all the violence at Zyfford Academy? No one would expect him to be able to do that. His life was now tainted with black due to his past.As for Zanaya, I am happy that she still gave us her loyalty up to this point, though I am so worried about her current state as of the moment. I really hope nothing bad happened to her. She's my very first friend here in Zyfford and was also the reason why we became friends with Dave's group. If not for her, I am sure my blood would still boil for the E4.It was already smoky in this part of the building so the rescuers would n

Arya exclaimed with tears in her eyes. She had been hysterical when everything had sunk in her mind. A series of sobs from her could now be heard along with the shouts of commands from the authorities as they tried to put out the fire.I should have listened to them. I should have listened to her. This shouldn't have happened. I could have helped her. If only I didn't let my pride and ego get in the way. We could have made a better plan.I tugged at my hair while still staring at the burning part of the Broadcast Room. Why didn't I listen to her? She's trying to explain, but I refused to listen. I even started hating her. Damn, I think I hate myself
