THE YEAR 2019Danny was still howling over the seat as Paul dazed back to reality while Jane was calling her through the phone. "Yeah. You should call him right now," Paul mumbled as the last verse of the song had been stated over the speakers. Jane nodded at the other end of the line and said that she should be doing it right now. Paul laid down his cell phone over his hips and he saw how his son's cell phone lit up over the table. Danny quickly picked up his cell phone and saw that the one who was calling him was his nanny. Paul smiled sadly over his cell phone as his son answered it and he stared longingly over the caller ID.
Paul looked out through the window and whispered,"I should be the one beside her, not Stan. I should be the one she chose, so why can't it be me that time?" P
