Chapter 146: Going Back

The Omegas dug the hole where their Alpha, Lord Ashman, would be laid. The other servants took care of the moody decoration in the pack and all through that period everyone must wear black to signify respect, pain and sorrow.

I was wearing a black gown and staring at Ashman’s picture frame. He has been laid in the costly coffin though I couldn’t look at him any more, I made do with the picture frame.

Fortunately, Ashley has settled down though she insisted on seeing Drake after the funeral.

I sighed and whipped Ashman’s frame with the back of my hand.

“It still feels surreal, you know.” I said through my sniffles, I couldn’t control the tears from rolling down my cheeks.

“I can’t believe I will be leaving the rest of my life without you.” I cried bitterly before placing the frame on the table.

Soon, someone knocked on the door and stepped in. I turned around and it was Andrea. I quickly whipped the tears off my face before staring at her.
