Chapter 46

Gwen's pov

I sneaked out of Jane's apartment the next morning without telling her or Ricky.

After everything that happened the last time, Jane would never be in support of me asking Andrew for help, and it would be a bad idea to bring Ricky along, especially given how Andrew feels about me.

I noticed a large number of security guards at Andrew's mansion and wondered when this new development was adopted.

They would not let me in because they were under strict orders not to let anyone in except very close friends and family.

“You are not listening to me, this involves the life of a child” I cried.

“Sorry ma'am, we can't let you in.”

I kept on yelling but they totally ignored me.

I was resolved to speak with Andrew regardless of the circumstances.

I sat at the extreme end of the gate, my head resting on my knees. Eventually, he would have to leave the house.

My phone was buzzing with calls and messages from Jane and Ricky.

My appearance reflected someone who had lost her mental health.
