ELENA'S POV

Andrew was transferred back to New York City on Monday evening. He was now closer to me. I could just visit him without paying so much for flight tickets.

I was part of the first people to visit him at the hospital.

He looked quite pale, to think he had just gotten a blood transfusion. No, I was not the donor, whoever it was had a kind heart too.

Penny was by my side as I stood by his bed watching him lay with his eyes closed, stubbles sprinkled along his jaws and chin, he looked sexy while sleeping.

"He's going to be alright." Penny misinterpreted the sigh I let out.

"It's all I want." I leaned over and brushed soft fingers across his face. He was warm.

The doctor came into the room, a dark-haired man who appeared to be in his fifties. Behind him was Kathrine, Andrew's Aunt. She never liked me.
