Serena's heart skipped a beat.

"She's going to be a regular employee?"

James unbuckled her seat belt and moved closer. The woman's eyes rolled around, alert and defensive.

She could sleep soundly at Lin Boting's house and talk and laugh freely with Elliot, but she was wary of him.

Serena's eyes widened especially when she was unhappy, and his figure was reflected in her clear pupils. She thought she was trying to scare him, but in fact, it was an unconscious seduction. James' voice became deeper.

"Do you want her to become a regular employee?"

Serena lowered her eyes, unwillingly.

"Whether I hope it's of any use or not, Mr. Forrest's woman, Mr. Forrest, has the final say."

James said nothing, just stared at her. Serena became more and more uncomfortable and moved to leave.

"Starting next week, she won't go to Chenyue anymore."

Serena looked up.

Not going to Chenyue again means... the future hostess is going to
