Chapter 2: Taming the Alpha

Sofia's POV

My body seems to stiffen upon realizing that Drake Grey, my husband, came back to me. His reaction is just dark, and I can't read what's playing on his head now when he extended his hand towards me.

“Why did you come back here?” I asked him in my cracking voice.

“Damn, don't ask too many questions. Do you want others to see you here crying? What do you think would be the students' reaction if they learned that the wife of the Alpha is crying here?” I bite my bottom lips when Drake raised a voice again towards me, and I was about to reply him when Olivia came to disrupt us.

“Honey, let's go?” She even wrapped her hand around my husband's waist and which made me bite my bottom lips.

“Our driver is waiting for you outside. As what I have said, you can go home alone and don't bother to wait to me.” He said and pulled Olivia's hand away from me. Tears fall down again from my eyes when I saw Drake grabbed Olivia's waist in front of me.

Damn.

It hurts me and I can't do anything to complain. Drake will be mad when he heard me complaining about his mistress. I'm just his wife and after all, Drake Grey is an Alpha, and I'm powerless to compared him. Enduring all the pain is the least thing I can do as of now.

Even though my legs still trembling in pain, I still manage to get up from sitting on the ground and walked my feet to the parking lot area. As usual, students started gossiping me when I passed their direction, but I just bend down my head to hide my face from them. I went inside the car and told our driver to go home.

Something popped in my head and which made me to smile. Despite what Drake did to me, it's not a reason for me to give up. I know, and I have these strong feelings, that I will succeed of taming the cold-hearted Alpha in the end. Patience and an effort would make everything possible.

A smile curled to my lips when there are many thoughts emerge in my head of how I'm going to tame him. I will make him feel that I'm always there for him.

In just a couple of minutes, we already reach Drake's mansion and I rushed out of the car to do my plans. I'm convinced that Drake will go home in here, and I wanted everything prepared before he arrives. I rushed the way through my room and which almost caused me to slipped on the stairs. Thank goodness' that I balance myself which prevents me of falling down the stairs.

I'm planning to bake Drake his favorite cake, and I'm certain that he will like it. My hopes are still strong, and I just hope that this time, he won't get mad towards me.

“What are you making, Miss Sofia?” My face turned to Drake's maid when she asked that towards me. A smile curled to my lips before responding to her.

“I'm making your Alpha his favorite cake.” Her eyes widen because of what I have said.

“I saw the Alpha just got home, and he brought a beautiful woman.” She stated and which made me stopped from what I'm doing. I have almost done of making the cake when the maid muttered that information towards me. My heart ached because of what I have heard.

“O…oh really?” I asked her and my voice started to cracked because tears were about to fall down from my eyes.

“I'm not convinced, Miss Sofia, but maybe you can check them.” She said and left me. A heaved deep breath escape from my mouth again while my gaze turned back to the cake which I'm making.

“Sofia, you can do it.” Regardless of the pain I felt, I still encourage myself that everything would be fine. I hold the new bake cake to give it to Drake. My heart pumped inside my chest because of nervousness. I tried to find him in the main corridor, but he wasn't there. I'm certain that Drake was on his private office so, I headed there and grip the cake tightly when I'm already facing the door.

After I knock the door, I used my left hand to pull the doorknob and my eyes widen upon what I witnessed.

“Damn, don't you have a hand?” Drake asked and wears his clothes back. My heart seems to crushed in pain after witnessing those scenarios and tears are about to fell from my eyes, but I bite bottom lips to stop the tears from falling down.

“I bring a cake for you, Drake, and I know this is your favorite.” My gaze was towards the other direction upon muttering those words towards Drake.

“We are not needing your cake, Sofia because I have already given Drake his favorite cake.” I bite my bottom lips because of what Olivia said. My head turned to Drake's desk and saw a box of cake in there.

“I will leave the cake here, Drake, hoping that you change your mind.” Drake, never respond me and which made my heart to shattered in pain. I put the cake on the table and face back the door to leave, but before I stepped out of the room, Olivia throws the cake towards my direction.

The tears that I'm holding flows down to my eyes after seeing the cake I made scattered on the floor. My hand clenched and face them. Drake seemed not to care about what's happening on his surroundings. He's only staring me with his cold eyes.

“Your cake doesn't taste good.” Olivia said and is mocking me, which made my blood to boiled. I wanted to attack her, but I'm just stopping myself from doing so.

“I'm going to make a new cake for you, Drake.” I muttered and then continued stepping my feet out of the room.

“I'm not eating your cake.” He replied, and I bite my bottom lips to stop my tears from falling down, but damn. I can't stop it anymore.

His words shattered my heart, but whatever happen, I won't give up of taming him.

“It's okay because I will still make you a cake.” I muttered towards him while tears still streaming down from my face because of the pain.
