When I couldn't take it anymore, I decided to go to Winnifred's room and explain things to her.

I got to the door of her room and was about to knock when I decided against it and just opened the door and let myself in.

I loved the sight that welcomed me for some reason.

Winnie was sound asleep with the cook by her side. They both looked like the perfect mother and daughter duo.

I saw dried tears on her cheek and I knew she had been crying.

It didn't take me long to realize it was because of what that bitch, Amelia had said to her earlier.

I stayed in her room for a few minutes as I watched her sleep.

Have I mentioned how beautiful and calm she looks when she's asleep?

After some time, I decided to leave so that none of them would wake up suddenly and catch me staring at them in their sleep.

That'll be creepy.

I went back to my room. At least I tried talking to her but she was fast asleep already and I couldn't possibly wake her up.
