Chapter forty three

"It's true, they really want to disgrace me tomorrow" Lisa muttered to herself hurtfully.

She never wanted to believe Mrs Sarah's words but she wasn't lying to her. They were really planning something so horrible for her.

Wiping her teary eyes, she took deep breaths and ran past the room as fast as could. She didn't halt after running past. She continued to run till she reached the east side of the mansion. She got there quickly but her footsteps had slowed down.

The Halls of the East wing were dark with cobwebs blocking her face. She had a hand full of cobwebs in her hair by the time she got to the stairs where Mrs Sarah said she would be waiting.

"You made it, am glad," Mrs Sarah said. She had a torch light in her hand which she used to point around, ensuring no one followed them.

"I had to. You were right Mrs Sarah. Alex really wants to have his way with me tonight and have it published in the news tomorrow" Lisa said, sniffing her nose.
