Chapter 49: Caught?

Nyx's POV

I was walking briskly to the dormitory, feeling slightly enthusiastic about whatever revelation relating to the mysterious being Narek had in stock for me.

I couldn't wait for the evening to come already so that I could hear about Narek's research.

"Well, isn't that Nyx Uren," someone said from behind a tree, causing me to stop and stare on in curiosity.

"Who are you?" I returned fearlessly, my eyes fixed on the direction the sound was coming from.

"The clown princess" I saw the owner of the voice come out from behind the tree.

I recognized him immediately, one of Otis's goonies, what does he want from me anyways?

I looked around to be sure he was alone, and it was not a planned attack or something.

Satisfied that there was no one else, I sent him a glare.
