CHAPTER 219

“ARE YOU ALRIGHT, CEDRIC?”

Monique’s worries, calling Cedric and immediately after their lunch date with her parents’ end. Checking on the young boy and making sure that everything is fine with him.

“I am.” Cedric assures the little girl, yet he doesn’t want to lie to her. “But my father might be on to something.” He confesses which worried Monique even further.

“What do you mean? Did the Governor knew that you told us everything of his plan?”

“I do not think so.” Cedric confess, sewing the facts the he currents have from the tone, mood and actions of his father. “Well he might be, but I think he is not sure yet.”

“Will you be alright after what he just said? Especially that you, yourself is having doubts that he might know.”

Monique’s concern and all while having her own thoughts and doubts if she will tell this to her mom and dad.

“Don’t worry about me, I know my father, I will be careful enough and as promise I will get you those documents as soon as possible.”
