CHAPTER 133

“WHERE are you?”

Brian demanded an answer and fast, after knowing that Sam didn’t arrive at the company and already past eight.

“Just put everything that I needed to review and approve on my desk. I will be there at the company soon.”

Sam’s command and not even a reason that Brian wanted to hear. All after not listening to Brian to stay calm and reasonable from his speculation that Cath is cheating on him.

“Are you at the twins’ academy?”

Brian concluded that it wasn’t that hard to confirm that he is right from Sam’s silence from the other line.

“I need to hang up the call now, I’ll just see you at the office.”

“Wait, Sam!”

Sam immediately ended the call, hanging up on Brian that pisses Brian a bit, but calm his nerves knowing that he couldn’t stop his boss and best friend. Yet, he still could do something to prevent the worst-case scenario that everything this is about to fall into.

“Damn!” Brian curses, fixing his glasses, and closes his eyes firmly for a few seconds. “Alright.”
