CHAPTER FOUR
Sold To A Stranger 2Leanda stepped into the house and gasped, “What is he doing?” she asked herself a question which she clearly knew the answer to. He was there to convince her again, but she had already made herself clear that she wasn’t interested in whatever he wanted, why wouldn’t he listen to her?He was sitting comfortably on the one seater sofa with Sarah on his laps, while Natasha sat right opposite him, Avi was nowhere in sight.Leanda couldn't move from the spot she was, she kept wondering how this strange man got to know her name, and now her house, who was he?."What are you doing here?" Leanda questioned as she walked to him with a disgusting look on her face. She huffed, "I thought I've already made it clear that I'm not interested in whatever you want."He laughed, "Do you think I care about what you want?," he asked and turned to face Natasha, "I think it will be best if you explain to her what happened and what she needs to do. Don't you dare waste my time," he stated."Yes sir," Natasha responded and jumped on her feet, she held Leanda's hand and pulled her to the corridor, "Listen to me carefully Leanda," she began, "You'll have to go with that man right there," she pointed to Alarick."What!" Leanda exclaimed, "What are you talking about mom?" she asked with a blank look."First and foremost Leanda, I am not your mom," she groaned, "And as I was saying, you will have to go with that man right there. You don't have a choice, and this time you can't buy yourself time like you did before, you have...""Is this some kind of joke to you?" she flared, "Go with this man, go with that man, am I an object that you can toss wherever and whenever you want?" she smoldered in resentment."I don't care what you think Leanda, but you'll have to go with that man," she stated, she wasn't even bothered about how she was feeling, she was always after her own selfish interest."That man already paid off the debt," she announced."He did?" she asked and peeped at Alarick before looking back at Natasha, "He paid the debt, but why?""I don't know why, you can ask him that after leaving with him," Natasha said and held her hand, "But right now, you will have to leave with him," she smiled, "He even gave me some more money, I promise I would take care of your dad this time, just leave with him, we will all be fine without you."She was trying her best to convince her but she was unfortunately making it worse. Leanda wasn't moved a bit by all she said. She just wanted to have a life of herself, not being controlled by her stepmother or anyone, she wanted to have her own life."I'm not going with anyone Natasha," Leanda shouted, "I am not leaving, you can't sell me off," she broke into tears, "You can't toss me off, I belong here too," she cried.Natasha squinted her eyes, "I'm so sorry that you're in this condition," she shook her head and held her hand as she pulled her back into the main room, "You can take her with you sir, I've discussed this with her," she added."I'm not going anywhere with you," Leanda shouted, tears raced down her cheeks, why does she have to be the one to clean up the mess made by others?, why couldn't she have her life of her own?."Let's get going," Alarick said and stood up, "I have no time to waste, this word suffocates me," he added."I am not leaving with you," Leanda argued, "I am never going to do what you want, I won't carry your baby, I don't want to do that, you..""Woman," Alarick yelled, "I have told you before that I don't care about what you want or what you don't want, I only care about what I want. I want you to carry my child and you have no other choice than to do that," he growled and pulled her closer to himself, "I don't want to force you, let's go," he added and pushed her towards the door."Let me go," Leanda screamed, "I am never going to do what you want. I will do anything but not carrying the child of a man like you, you are a beast," she shouted, "You think you can buy anyone with your money?, I don't want your money," she stopped and hung her head for minutes, as if she was speaking to herself. She fell on her knees when she realized that shouting and yelling at him wouldn't solve anything."Please, just leave me and my family alone, I don't want to go with you, I am...""Can you stop the fake tears," Alarick shouted and pulled her up from the floor, "I'm saying this one more time so listen to me carefully woman, I don't care about what you want, you only have to do as I say," he stated, "Now come with me or I hurt you and I won't even leave your family out."Natasha gasped, "Please...please don't do that," she pleaded, she didn't even know who this man was, she just wanted to get his money, that was why she accepted the offer he brought.Alarick had come knocking on their door, and just when he was still trying to convince Natasha, Don and his rogues came in and he took the opportunity to pay the debt. He also bribed Natasha with some more money, and she couldn't reject it as the materialistic and greedy person she was."Just go with him Leanda, do you want him to hurt us all?" Natasha gasped.Leanda hung her head, she mumbled incoherent things through her hands and choked on her sobs, "Please just let me go."Alarick pulled Sarah to himself and lifted her with her cloth like she was just a piece of paper.Sarah giggled, she found that fun, she was too young to understand what was happening."If you refuse to go with me, then I will clear out your family," he stated and looked at Sarah, "And I am going to start from this little girl," he added and pulled out a knife from his pocket. Why would anyone go around with a knife? made Leanda more confused about this man's identity.Leanda fell at his feet and held his leg, "I will go with you," she gave in, "I will go with you, but please don't hurt her, don't hurt my family," she was really not fighting for her whole family, she was only fighting for Sarah and her dad."Please let her go," she pleaded.Alarick dropped her and picked a handful of Leanda's hair, he pulled her up with it, making her cry out in pain."That is for making me shout, and you still have lots to pay for," he stated and turned to Natasha, "You can say your goodbyes to her because you will never see her again," he added and pulled her towards the door.Leanda was helpless, she had to protect her family, she had to do it for her dad and Sarah, she wouldn't be able to live without them or the fact that they got hurt when she could have avoided that. She turned back as she was pulled to the door, her eyes met with Sarah's teary eyes."Leanda," she mouthed, "Are you leaving me alone?" Sarah cried.Leanda sniffled quietly, tears threatening to spill from her eyes, but she wanted to hide it, she didn't want to scare Sarah. She cleared her throat, "I will be back Sarah," she murmured, "Big sister will be back," she added and a single drop of grief welled up from the corner of her eye."Your highness," Morgana and Dennis greeted as they got to the door."Get in," Alarick said and pushed Leanda into the car before getting in too.Morgana took the front seat with Dennis who drove the car.Leanda just couldn't get her mind off what happened in the last few minutes, how was she supposed to explain that she was sold off to a total stranger in just few minutes. She was sold of to a man whom she doesn't even know his identity, a man whom she had only seen once, and not in a good way.Tears welled from deep inside and coursed down her cheeks, it spilt over and flowed down her face like a river escaping a dam.She bit her bottom lips, she wasn't even sure of what was next, or what this strange man has in store for her, she was just going to go as fate wanted it."What have I done wrong?" Leanda murmured to herself silently. She sniffled constantly like she was resisting her tears, but that didn't work. Her bottom lips quivered, and her shoulders dropped in resignation, an involuntary whimper escaped her lips, there was nothing more she could do.CHAPTER FIVELocked Up 1Few minutes later, the. are pulled over at the front of a big building, one which Leanda had seen but never walked into, what could she be looking for? They stepped down from the car while she did so reluctantly, she imagined creating a scene, maybe that was going to work and this man would let her go, but that would only cause more troubles for her.Morgana moved closer to her and held her by her arm, "My name is Morgana," she stated. That was the last thing Leanda was interested in at that moment, her name. She had nothing to do with her name, she just wanted to go back home, to her family, to her dad and Sarah, she wanted to go away from whoever these people were."Please, just let me go," she sniffled."I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that," Morgana responded and smiled, "Come with me," she added and they followed behind Alarick and Dennis who had already led the way. While they were going in, all Leanda could think about was a way of escape, a way to
CHAPTER SIXLocked Up 2"Who is he?" Leanda asked as he watched Alarick heading towards the bathroom, "Who is this man and what does he want from me?" she broke into tears.Morgana moved closer to her and pulled her to herself, "Come with me, I will take care of your cut," she stated, pretending like she didn't hear the question Leanda asked."Didn't you hear what I said?" Leanda sniffled, even though Morgana was obviously a middle aged woman, Leanda wouldn't mind disrespecting her if she wouldn't give an answer to the question she asked, "Who are you two and what do you want from me?" she asked.Morgana still didn't give her an answer to her question, she pretended like she didn't hear what she asked. She picked up a small first aid box from the table and turned to her, "Sit," she said, pointing to the chair at the side of the window.Leanda refused to sit, "You heard me asking you a question, but you refused to answer, and now you are telling me to sit?" she grumbled, "I won't sit u
CHAPTER SEVENA New WorldThe door to the closet came open and Leanda jumped up on her feet, she was at first scared because she thought it would be Alarick, but she heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Morgana at the doorstep. With her hand still on the doorknob, Morgana said, "We have to leave."Leanda's eyes widened, it was another day and the same confusion, they were back to confusing her again, "Leaving?" she asked with her brows raised, "What do you mean leaving? and where are we leaving for?" she inquired, where else would they have to go?"You will know when we get there, just come with me," she responded and walked away.Leanda couldn't move, she couldn't follow her, she just stayed on the same spot and watched her as she headed for the main door to the room.Where were they leaving for? she wanted an answer to that, but the one whom she asked has refused to give her an answer to that, just like she didn't give her an answer to the question she asked the night before.Morgana
CHAPTER EIGHTDeath Is NearAlarick growled as he moved closer to her, "How dare you!"His massive werewolf form loomed over her, its eyes blazing with anger. His wolf had finally gotten the chance to take over his body, he couldn't fight back the shifting and he was also angry and that was what increased the wolf's control over him.Leanda's eyes widened in terror, she shook in fear as she saw the figure looming in front of her, it's eyes glooming with otherworldly hunger and anger, she could feel it's rage .She gasped as she stepped backwards, what was she going to do? She looked at everyone around as if it ask for help but they all looked away and it all seemed like they were scared too. With a snarl, Alarick lunged at her, its razor-sharp claws aimed for her throat.Leanda screamed, her heart pounding with fear. She had never felt so helpless in her life. She looked up at him, her hands trembled as she held on to his hairy hand."P..P.. Please let me go," she pleaded, tears rol
CHAPTER NINEThrown Into The DungeonLeanda's heart was pounding in her chest as she was thrown into the cell. The door slammed shut behind her, and she heard the sound of the lock clicking into place. She stood there for a moment, her eyes adjusting to the dim light of the cell. The cell was small and dark, with stone walls and a dirt floor. There was a small window high up on the wall, but it was too high for her to reach. The only other thing in the cell was a straw mattress in the corner. It was clear that the cell was designed to be as dreadful as possible, with no amenities or comforts.Leanda held onto the door, banging it and calling for help. She screamed until her throat was hoarse, but no one came. She sank to the ground, her back against the door, and broke down in tears. She was completely alone, in a world she didn't understand, trapped in a cell with no hope of escape. After a while, she wiped away her tears and started to look around the cell. She examined the walls, s
CHAPTER TENThe Royal HallLeanda looked around in the cell, why would they take them from one cell and throw them in another? She was still holding on to Chloe's hand tightly, and looked up at her and cleared her throat, "W...What are we doing here?" she asked.Chloe shrugged, as if to say she had no idea, "I'm not sure," she responded."We will be taken away soon," Avi answered her question, "I don't know what for, but it might be to clean or do any other job. We just have to wait till the guards come back here," she explained.Leanda nodded, she had to accept the bitter truth and that was the truth that she was in a total different world, thrown into the cell and she would never get out.The earlier she accepts that truth, the better and easier it becomes for her to adapt to the changes and the rules of the new environment, but Leanda wasn't ready to accept that."I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I get out of this place," she murmured silently to herself, "I don't belo

Everyone was busy preparing for the grand celebration, and the royal quarters were no exception. Leanda and the other inmates were woken up early in the morning and taken to the royal quarters where they would have to work."Wake up humans," the guards shouted and they bagged on each of the cell door in the prison room, "Wake up humans," they added.Leanda opened her eyes one after the other as she groaned in pain, her back which she was whipped days ago was still hurting her, she still hasn't healed completely from it.She tried to stand but fell back on the floor, the guards saw her and they thought she didn't want to follow their order. The stormed in and headed towards where Leanda was on the floor, "You pathetic human, didn't you hear me talking," he yelled as he took a step after the other.Chloe ran to them quickly and helped Leanda get up from the floor, "She is sorry

CHAPTER NINETYThe Conspiracy Alarick cupped Leanda’s face and looked into her teary eyes, he still couldn’t believe all Bree was saying and he wanted to hear from her directly, he wanted to hear her say that it was the truth before believing it. “Tell me Leanda, is she saying the truth?”“Yes, she is.” A voice said. They all turned back to see Lyall walking towards them, “Yes, she is carrying my baby, and the future king of the Blood Moon Pack,” he added as he walked to them.“You.” Alarick growled, his resentment grew inside of him, just with the sight or Lyall. He has detested him right from the day he met him in that compromising position with Leanda, and even after that, it got to him that Leanda went back to see him.Alarick didn’t want to believe that leanda went to him on her own free will, he believed that she might have been forced to do that and Lyall would be behind it all because he looked like a cunning person to him, just like his sister.“She is carrying my child, and
CHAPTER EIGHTY-NINEThe Heir Of The Blood Moon PackBree looked up at Leanda with a smile which changed into a wicked smirk almost immediately, “this woman right here is carrying the child of my brother, Lyall, the prince of the Blood Moon Pack.” She announced with a big smile on her face.“What!” Alarick and Leanda exclaimed. There it was, Bree’s entire plan, and why she had been silent all along. That was she had been planning and why she had been quiet, she was planning a big strike, one which leanda wouldn’t be able to escape from. She had it all planned and was waiting for the right time to strike.Leanda just stood frozen on the spot, unable to say or do anything, she had been caught by Bree and she was unable to think about anything that might save her from this situation. She thought she was safe and she was finally out of her plan when Bree didn’t talk about it, but she never knew that she was planning a bigger plan, one she wouldn’t be escape from, she didn’t know what to do
CHAPTER EIGHTY-EIGHTPregnant 2“Your highness, Leanda is pregnant!” Morgana announced.Alarick stood still, buying more minutes to process what was just said, he couldn’t really believe it. Just few minutes ago, he was thinking about how he and failed to provide a heir for his kingdom even after taking the pain to go to the human world to go and bring Leanda. He was only thinking about it all few minutes before Leanda collapsed to the floor, he couldn’t believe that what he thought he had failed at finally happened. He thought he failed at giving the kingdom the heir which they deserved, he thought he had failed, but he hasn’t.“A..Are you sure about this?” He asked for confirmation, “Are you sure she is pregnant?” He asked again and moved close to Morgana, “Is she really pregnant? Is she carrying my child?” He asked and Morgana nodded.Alarick had never been so emotional, he couldn’t believe it. Just minutes ago, he was thinking abutting his end time and how the most important thing
CHAPTER EIGHTY-SIXPregnant Three Weeks LaterLeanda was in Alarick’s chamber, cleaning the furniture. Alatick sat on the bed, watching her as she does that. It’s been weeks and the only thing that has grown between them was the sexual tension, Alarick had been cold as he was before, he pushes her away whenever he wants and call her back when he feels like. His anger was still there, and in the last three weeks, he has overcome the stage of irritation and now he was facing the unusual thirst for blood. Alarick almost killed one of the guards when the sudden thirst started, but he got to know after that, that keeping Leanda close to him suppresses the thirst a bit.So, he gave Leanda a rule not to ever leave his side, in the hope that he would be able to control himself, while Leanda thought he did that because he didn’t want her to go see Lyall again.Alarick knew he had just two stages left before the complete takeover happens and he would lose everything that made him; his body, his

She wondered if Bree had told Alarick what she did and he was here to pass his judgment on her, her whole body trembled just by the thought of that.Alarick wouldn’t take it lightly with her, he wouldn’t let her go scot free if he gets to know about her infidelity. She looked at Bree and she could see a smile on her face, her heart sank, she knew Bree has done something.“H…have I been caught?” Leanda stutteredChloe moved closer to her and held her hand, giving her the comfort, warmth and assurance that she was not alone in this and she would stand by her, against anyone.“I am here with you Leanda, nothing would go wrong,” Chloe assured her but Leanda couldn’t get her mind off what could be the outcome of what was about to happen this night.Leanda felt like no one could really understand what she was going t
