Chapter 90

Liv’s POV…

I was so weak, I doubted I could move my legs. I didn't want to try so I just laid down on the bed with my eyes closed, with the thoughts of if I could get some sleep without any disturbance.

Just as I had predicted, I heared a knock on the door. I opened my eyes to see a guard who stepped inside the room.

“Follow me" the guard said, his voice laced with command. I remained stilled as I stared at him intently.

“Where are you taking me to?” I asked, my voice coming off as though it was a whisper. I could barely speak.

“I have been assigned not to say anything to you. I'm only carrying out my orders” he said.

At first I was confused on where he wanted to take me to. Without thinking too much, I had come to a conclusion to decline his request but then I thought about it. It would only mean trouble for him, I was once in that position of having to carry out orders so I would understand better.
