I glanced at the tray on the stool and sighed. I was hungry, but that was exactly what I needed. If I don't have any real food, my Vampire side would rely on the blood I drank to keep me strong, and that way, it'll be out of my system faster.

I stood up as I thought about finding the kitchen here and returning it. I picked up the tray, but just as I was about to walk out, I changed my mind.

I stopped walking and I slowly turned around, staring at my bed as I remembered the prisoner I met yesterday.
