Chapter Fifty-Five: True Love Wins

Tears suddenly filled her vision. Her body automatically acted on its own. She grabbed her mobile phone and dialled Van's contact number, which was given to her by James few days ago...

With trembling hands, she pushed the "Call" button. She heard ten rings, but the call went straight up the voice message.

"Hi, this is Van. I'm not available right now, so please leave a message after the tone."

Julia decided to end the call, while feeling helpless.

"Oh, Hiro..." she wearily whispered, while silently crying.

The next day.

Julia is nervously waiting at a certain restaurant. It's she and David's favorite restaurant. She decided to meet David there to tell him something really important.

After a few minutes, she saw David entering the restaurant and now he's making his way towards her. She smiled at him, eventhough she's feeling nervous as hell.

"I'm sorry if I'm a little late, babe. I just finished a meeting with one of clients." David quickly apologizes, as
