Heartbroken

King Derek’s POV

I was still in denial that Eleanor was gone, but each time I remembered the corpse that was brought to me, I knew she was really gone. I wondered how I was going to move on, my life was surrounded by her and I could hardly dream about anything without involving her.

My heart bleeds so badly and as I looked at myself in the giant mirror in my room, I knew a lot had changed about me, I had dark circles around my eyes, my face pale, my abs got lean. I haven’t been able to sleep for days, and all I see when I close my eyes is her beautiful face and enchanting smile.

I suddenly heard a knock on my door and tilted my head to look at the door, “come in” I grumbled, and the door was pushed open, Lucas came inside and bowed his head before me.

“Everything is ready King Derek,” he said and I nodded
