Eleanor’s POV

I slowly opened her eyes, after blinking them multiple times, trying to adjust my eyes to the surroundings. My head throbbing with a sharp pain in my neck, I placed my hand there as I tried to make sense of my surroundings. As my vision adjusted to the dimly lit room, confusion washed over me. The unfamiliar surroundings sent a shiver down my spine, and my heart raced with a mix of fear and anxiety.

“This was not my house, where am l, where is my baby?” I asked myself loudly in panic as fear gripped me.

I scanned the room, my eyes darting from one corner to another, searching for any sign of my precious baby. But to my dismay, there was no trace of my little one not even his stroller or napkin. Panic welled up inside me, threatening to consume my every thought.

So many thoughts raced through my mind. How did I end up here? Where was my baby? Why does my head hurt so bad? The room felt suffocating, the air heavy with unanswered questions. I wrecked my brain trying to re
