Lucy’s POV

“I need to take this revenge any cost” I muttered to myself, pacing the room with heavy steps, and a strong burden in my heart. My heart pounded in my chest so heavy, my mind clouded with the memories I wished I could erase.

My fists clenched at my sides as I thought about the choices I had made for myself, the life I had built only to watch it crumble within few days.

My thoughts wandered back to those days when I was younger, naive, and hopeful—a time when I believed in love, destiny, and the promises of forever.

“Lucy, when are you going to find your mate, huh?” my mother asked, her voice light but tinged with an edge of expectation.

I was standing by the kitchen counter with her, helping her prepare dinner for the whole family. Her question hit me like a sharp punch to the gut, but I forced myself to smile, pretending her words didn’t sting as much as they did on me.

“Sooner than you think mother,” I replied, trying to keep my tone neutral and ca

As I descended the staircase, the sound of voices reached my ears—Daniel and Ivy, deep in conversation, like two love birds.Taking a deep breath, I, pushed my emotions aside and painted a faint smile on my face. It wasn’t much, but it would do enough not to tell my real emotion.“Good morning,” Ivy greeted as soon as I stepped into view. Her warm smile was always comforting, though her sharp eyes seemed to miss nothing.“Morning,” I replied with a yawn, slipping between the two of them and finding my usual spot on the couch. I crossed one leg over the other, trying to appear more composed than I felt of myself.Daniel studied me, his brows furrowing slightly. “How are you holding up with the new change?” he asked, his voice laced with genuine concern and excitement.“At least I’ve managed to figure out

Lucy’s POVAs the morning turned into afternoon and the minutes turned into hours, I found myself pacing the length of the room, my mind racing with a thousand thoughts. Plans, possibilities, and doubts all swirled together in a chaotic mess. I needed clarity, someone who could see things from a different perspective, someone who wasn’t tied down by the emotions that bound Ivy, Daniel, and me.I stopped pacing the whole room and sat on the edge of the couch, my fingers hovering over my phone screen. For a moment, I hesitated, the weight of my next move pressing heavily on my chest. Then, with a deep breath, I dialed the number I hadn’t used in years. The line rang twice before a familiar voice answered. “This is Ethan on the line drop your message.”I swallowed hard, unsure of how to begin with my words. “It’s me... Lucy’s POVThe look on their faces sent a shiver straight down my spine. Ivy’s usually calm character seemed to shift into something guarded and serious, while Daniel’s jaw tightened as if he was biting back words. They didn’t trust Ethan, and their reactions made it clear.“Ethan,” I called out, stepping toward him, with a serious look on my face.He turned to me at once, his face lighting up with a smile I knew all too well. But that smile wasn’t real. It was the kind of smile you put on when you’re trying to hide something. But the way she stood, her arms crossed and shoulders stiff, said everything her words didn’t.“Can we go upstairs to talk much Better, Ethan?” I interjected, grabbing his hand. Lucy POV"Luna Lucy, you're pregnant." The pack doctor's words sounded so unreal, as though they were spoken from a distant dream. My chest immediately tightened, my fingers trembling as they curled into the edge of the chair. The stark clinical room suddenly felt suffocating, the air too heavy to breathe. “Pregnant?” The word rolled off my tongue, foreign and weightless. It couldn’t be real at all. It shouldn’t be real atleast, even though have been waiting for this moment like forever.“Yes,” the doctor confirmed, her voice calm but firm, as though she had uttered the words a hundred times before. “You’re pregnant, Luna.” I blinked at her, searching her expression for any sign that she was joking to me. A cruel mistake? A misdiagnosis? Surely, it wasn’t true. My heart beat wildly in my chest, hammering against my ribcage like it was trying to escape already. “Are you sure about that?” My voice wavered, my hands gripping the armrests of the chair tightly. Lucy’s POVI stood frozen in a spot, the scan result still clutched in my trembling hands, yet my mind was no longer focused on it anymore . Something darker, colder, had taken hold of me at this point. The scarf lay there on the bed like a taunting shadow, its delicate fabric whispering secrets I wasn’t ready to hear. Fear twisted deep within me with just seeing this scarf. I swallowed hard and wiped at the tears threatening to spill over my cheeks. I Just couldn’t let this moment break me down, not after everything I’d endured over the years. I quickly masked my emotions, replacing the turmoil with a brittle smile, just in time to hear his voice behind me. “Lucy,” Andy called softly.I turned, forcing myself to meet his own gaze. He stood in the doorway, tall and composed as always, though there was something different in his stance this time. Something cautious and strange. “Where did you go to, Lucy?” he asked, taking a step closer to my standing position.“I’ve been l

Lucy’s POV“She’s actually pregnant for me.” Andy’s words slammed into me like a physical blow, stealing the air from my lungs. My hands trembled at my sides as I stared at him, trying to process what he’d just said. This couldn’t be real. My Andy. The man who had always reassured me, held me close when the whispers about my inability to conceive grew too loud. The man who had promised me we’d face it all together. And now, here he was, standing in front of me, confessing to fathering another woman’s child. “How can she be pregnant for you?” I asked, my voice trembling, barely concealing the fury rising up within me. Andy didn’t answer my question immediately. He crossed his arms and looked away, as though he couldn’t bear to meet my gaze. His silence felt like a slap, confirming the truth I didn’t want to believe. “Andy, answer me!” I shouted, taking a step toward him with huge anger already. He sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. “What do you want me to say,

Lucy’s POVYes, I craved revenge more than anything in this life just at this point. It consumed my every thoughts, my every waking moment, my while time in this human world. Revenge was what I wanted, what I needed, what I carved for.The pain that lure around my soul each seconds I remember the past, the whole anger that it brings they fuel me, burning brighter with each passing day. I didn’t care who stood in my way or who wasn’t ready to face the consequences of my wrath and own anger.“Daniel,” I said, my voice steady but laced with urgency. “I need your help.”He met my gaze, his dark eyes narrowing slightly. “Help with what exactly?”I gave him a look that spoke louder than my ordinary words. He understood me within a glance, he always did. But this time, he didn’t respond with the usual reassurance.“Count me out if you’re planning to kill anyone or shade blood,” he said firmly, his tone unyielding. “Yes, I’m an alpha. Yes, I’ve done things worse than most can imagine. But thi

Lucy’s POV"Good morning to you all!" a young woman’s voice rang out, clear and confident in the room.I glanced up to see her standing in the center of the room, her tailored dress clinging perfectly to her frame and cruvy body. She exuded authority, and though her words were kind and truly calm, her stance made her seem like the tallest among us."Good morning," the room chorused, their voices blending into one polite hum."I'm Sandra Blackwood," she announced, her sharp eyes scanning the room until they landed on me. A smile tugged at her lips, making me confused immediately."Hmmm," I muttered, taken aback by the directness of her gaze. I froze, suddenly feeling out of place, the tight office wear clinging uncomfortably to my skin."Your name?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, her tone gentle but also commanding as once expected from her."Oh!" I blurted, heat rushing to my face immediately. I shot to my feet, nearly knocking over the chair behind me. "I'm Lucy."Sandra’s smi

I don’t think it’s cooperating with me and my personality.”Ivy appeared in the doorway, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. Her blonde hair was tied back in a neat ponytail, and she looked far too amused by my own struggle.“Lucy, it’s just a skirt and blouse,” she said, crossing her arms with a little chuckle. “How hard can it be?”“I don’t know Ivy! It’s… everything is so tight! Humans willingly wear this all day without wanting to give up the ghost?” I tugged at the skirt’s waistband.
