“You already know who your mates are?” I demand.

I watch as Ryder’s eyes widen and he realizes exactly what it is he’s said. He didn’t want to tell anyone about this. It had just slipped out. And it’s very obvious that he wanted to tell someone. That he needed to tell someone.
