“This is all your fault Nancy,” Allison muttered to herself as she stared at her father where he sat on the couch in their living room.

He was lucky not to have lost one of his eyes, where a shard of bottle had pierced him slightly. The doctors said it would take a while for him to heal completely and except he uses cosmetic surgery, he would be scarred for life.

“Ally,” Ethan called. His entire face was wrapped with gauze and bandages but he could see with one of his eyes. Apart from the occasional pain he felt from his wounded eye, he felt perfectly okay.

“Give it up. This obsession with Lloyd has gone too far. I will no longer be a party to this madness,” Ethan’s voice was curt and calm.
