Chapter Eleven

Aria's Pov

I froze as the sound of gunshots echoed through the woods, the birds flying in fright.

My heart skipped a beat, and a cold sweat broke out on my forehead, muttering a silent prayer under my breath, I hoped that none of the brothers, especially Colton, was shot.

I hesitated for a moment before opening my eyes, and to my dismay, it was exactly what I had been avoiding—the security team of the Crescent territory, the CFI.

"What's going on, Alphas?" a lady said, looking around the scene.

"We got a report from the inhabitants of the slums that there was a loose, legendary wild wolf rampaging the woods."

"And I wasn't expecting to see you two here," she added.

"A wild wolf? Come on, there's no such thing," Orion immediately said.

I turned to Colton, who had a jacket over his waist but no pants on.

He must have probably shifted back to his human form, not wanting to be seen in his wolf form.

No Alpha would want to be seen in this situation.

"Alpha Colton? oh my God.
