Lorenzo drives me back home after the coffee date with Vanessa.

I step out of the car, carrying the wrapped box that Vanessa got Damien as a wedding gift. I wonder what's inside. I'm tempted to kill my curiosity and unwrap it but it's not my gift. I will wait for Damien to open it.

But I'm sure it's something sentimental. One of the main reasons I went on that date was to confirm if Vanessa was still inlove with Damien. She's definitely crazy about him. She wasn't even excited to talk about her fiancé. All she wanted to talk about was Damien. God, the naked jealousy on her face when I said Damien tells me everything was all the proof I needed.

These are two people who are madly inlove with each other but make it hard for themselves to be together. I don't understand why they do that to themselves.
