“Irena, that’s enough,” Creighton said sternly, stopping his little sister from finishing her sentence.

“I believe you have a previous commitment to keep,” Derek said with the authority his many years in the legal profession provided him.

Andre looked around the table with mixed feelings. On one hand he was free, able to move forward and never think of the wonderful Ashfords again, but on the other hand, he had to start over and try to find someone to replace Sabrina at the altar. The room was silent as he stood up, rolled his sleeves down and slipped his jacket back across his torso.
