They continued to walk in silence for several long minutes, just enjoying the peaceful sounds of the country and the warm spring air. Andrew chuckled under his breath as Creighton’s smile turned genuine and wide; telling her the attempt had worked. She stood up from the sofa with him, accepted the hug he gave her, and bit back the giggle when his hand cupped her bottom.
