CHAPTER 38

FEW DAYS AFTER what seemed to be a chaotic week at the office, was already making me feel lightheaded each morning.

I had gone used to seeing Thiago left the side of my bed empty each morning that today was a total surprised for me.

I stirred awake, feeling the warmth of the early morning light streaming through the sheer curtains. And as my eyes blinked open, I was startled to find Thiago already awake, watching me intently.
