Chapter 36 Tension

Rebecca woke me up, I prepared myself and headed to the dining room to have breakfast.

Hades, Monalisa and Jonas were talking happily when I entered the dining,they turned their heads to look at me and I gave the three a polite smile and they smiled back at me.

However, Monalisa wasn't convinced. She looked at me with creased eyebrow and I ignored her glances.

We plated our plates and began to eat whilea talking about random things.Hades and Jonas asked us about the East and Monalisa explained happily how everything ran.

I didn't talk that much like other days. I kept on looking at the head of the table where Luciano always sits whenever we are eating.

The empty chair made me miss him even more.I tried to ignore the tingling feeling of loneliness and emptiness that invaded my heart but…it wasn't going away no matter how much I tried to shake it off.
